It's heavyweight and guys can get clipped, especially if Gane can land one of his nasty back of the head hammer fists on Tom, he could spark him.

However, I trust Tommy Boy's chin as I've seen him tank a nasty shot from Pav with only his physical location affected as Pav hits like a truck, so I don't think Cyril chins him.

I don't think Cyril can dance around for 25 minutes surviving either outside of him smashin Tom's knee with a nasty oblique early and just getting too far out ahead early, though Ngannou was able to lay and pray him with a bum knee.

I don't think he has the better offensive nor defensive grappling.

I just have a hard time seeing Cyril able to take it and believe we are seeing the end of the quickest run of 3 championship fight losses a fighter has ever had in Gane.

Aspinall's fans wouldn't even entertain any outcome other than him knocking Gane out in the first round.

I love Tom, I think he's one of the most wholesome people in MMA, just all around positive attitude, but we have to stay objective at all times. Experience is important.

i rewatch the fight and aspinal has more power and is faster and able to evade

gane was more precise and willingly to commit, thats how he got the 2 big strike, one on the nose, and one counter towards the end

without the eye poke, aspinal was definitely going to tko ko gane at some point

you cant run for 5 rounds

but i am not sure of how busted up tom's nose was, if it was busted then gane definitely has good chance as well given his striking and footwork

but tom really has just got to land 1 good combo

tom plan was to slow gane down in round 2/3 then go for tko

thats why he was going for the kicks, he know with gane's footwork and cardio realistically hard to get him in r1, he want to slowly break down gane and then catch him

and thats why tom is not comitting to the take down, he said it before he believe he has the powe to knock anyone out just watch his interview with DC

gane plan was to just keep tom as far as possible straightfoward plan

but what tom didnt expect was gane was willingly to commit to his strike at times, giving him a bloody nose and some good counters

I'm excited for the rematch as it's a REAL HW title fight we've had since 2022, regardless of outcome at this point. I just want the division moving again.
