Media The record looks very bad for Aspinall if a fight goes past 4 minutes

The cult with just lash out at you with emotional outbursts, all the while pretending that Tom's cardio is not even up for debate and somehow implying that he's heavyweight Merab, meanwhile the board used to overwhelming question the cardio of Ngannou despite surviving a 5 round fucking slobberknocker with Stipe.

Im not the PC type by any means but there's definitely some form of racism for these people to on the one hand criticize Ngannou's cardio despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, while doing exactly the inverse with Tom.

Yes he appears to gas out quickly, even compared to other heavyweights. I'm not sure we've actually ever seen an elite HW with a worse gas tank than Aspinall, think about it.

Speaking of racism, there's also the disgusting recent effort to paint Gane as the "black criminal" and showing his random fouls, when in reality he's never had a DQ LOSS from a BLATANT FOUL like Tom has. Tom literally has a DQ loss on his record, yet he's the British white angel in this board, you can't make this shit up.

Bringing up old fights is stupid. Obviously, he is a different fighter now and the fight would go differently.

Its so silly people dont think an elite professional athlete cant go 5 rounds without gassing. It's called cardio.you can train it. it's not some mystery variable that has to be tested in a fight.
It's so strange that people are ignoring that an elite professional athlete like DC said for everybody to hear during the fight Tom has been throwing way too hard and it's starting to get ugly because he has no idea how to fight a 25 minute fight if his opponent doesn't fall down in 60 seconds.

Live in denial all you want. Tom has a pacing problem AT MINIMUM, which isn't exactly surprising considering the parallels to McGregor and thinking nobody can stop your punches.

I'll reserve judgement until we have data from this decade.

He has had plenty of time to address that, and a lot of people pointing it out. Not everyone is built with natural endurance, but there is certainly a significant ability to improve cardio thru hard work.

Conor jumped between weights

There seems to be this narrative that Gane va Aspinall barely got started when it sits as one of the longest fights of Aspinall’s career.

Aspinall has gone into round 2 three times and he lost 2/3.

Tapped to Stuart.
Fouled loss to Pierobic.

He did manage to take down Arlovski even after gassing (his only post 4 min win)

And then a no contest after 4 mins against Gane.

Do we have enough information to conclude Aspinall is a 3-4 minute fighter?

Maybe a heavyweight Terrance Mckiney?
What is this, the 10th Anti-Aspinall thread you've started? You OK, bro? Did he fuck your girlfriend or something?

Cool.

So anyway, anyone got big plans this weekend? I'm hoping to take it easy, personally, but I always feel like I'm forgetting something I have to do.

I am following Aspinalls YouTube channel and the eye poke scandal. Apparently these brits never years of it before.

He’s a heavyweight that’s never been tested past 2 rounds it’s absolutely a question. Especially in a 25 minute fight when you’re known for Koing people fast. Let’s not be ignorant.

It's not 15 rounds of boxing. Its easy to test if he can go 5 rounds. And it has been done.

It’s perfectly fine to question whether that’s a potential weakness. It often is for explosive guys that finish fights early. It’s a question for sure. It remains to be seen.

But the information we have is limited and dated. OP uses 4 examples. 2 a decade old, 1 he won, and the last one was a no contest from an eye poke before any clear signs of gassing. This is hardly enough to conclude it’s a weakness. Let’s wait until we actually see it.

This doesnt deserve a thread, i mentioned it plenty of times in the other 100´s of threads, the vast majority of his fights end in under 2 minutes, this one went twice as long and it wasnt looking for him, it will be interesting if Gane can survive (beat?) twice.
