Seems like he believes in Jon Jones very much so and this is really a fanboy thread basically saying he hated criticism of Jones for ducking Aspinall and doesn't want to see Jon fight Aspinall AND if Jon loses to Stipe its Aspinall's fault as well.

Fuck me man, all the bitching still about arsepinal. I mean whats the fucking use 1 week before the fight? The fights made , its going to happen get over yourselves. It was a valid point months ago before Dana basically told yall to go fuck yourselves.... Yet the crying and bitching has been relentless till today, they just cant cope with Stipe fighting. I bet these are the same people that went to therapy after watching the game of thrones ending. Or they just wanna ruin the fight for everyone since they did not get the fight they wanted. If you don't want to see criticism of a fighter you're a fan of, don't be a fan of a fighter who fucks up in every aspect of his life. Or just don't go on a MMA forum or don't listen to/watch MMA media.

Also, if you are familiar with Luke Thomas, you should have been able to see it coming that he would have a long winded take on it. And that Jon fans would annoy him, because they often value Jon being a menace to society and to the sport more, than that to that they value the sport itself. They love how Jon's degeneracy rustles a lot of people. That's not a positive attribute to a fan, nor a human being.

Bud, Jon keeps saying things that contradict earlier statements and people will bring that up. That's how shit goes with every event. Fighters make statements and they get discussed. Jon just has a whole lot of baggage/history that precedes the statement, but is relevant to the overall discussion, so the discussion takes on a bit of a different tone to it compared to if he didn't have a history of controversy.

Also, Tom being the back up and "next in-line" does nothing if Jon doesn't want to fight him, if he does beat Stipe. However, pressure from the fans may have him reconsider what his actions will do to his legacy, so I think a lot of fans feel they need to be vocal about it.

Whether Jon fights him or doesn't, I hardly care anymore. Whichever will cause cocophany of whining and bitching to stop sooner is what I want. I turned on Morning Kombat on an extended drive today and those two douchebags ruminated about it for over half an hour. It's fans, it's the media, it's everyone. I get that the idea of Jon possibly ducking someone (even though he hasn't actually ducked him yet) is Christmas come early for everyone who weirdly obsesses over the guy, but every comment he makes isn't worth tirading over. He could win tomorrow, declare that he's been trolling this whole time, and then call Tom inside the cage for all we know. Then what?

At the end of the day, I so wish Jon had gone into fight week saying that he was only focused on Stipe and not answering any questions about what comes after. Speaking of the Stipe fight, I hope everyone crying about Aspinall realizes that all you've done is give Jon an excuse if he looks bad tomorrow and/or loses. "I got distracted by all the Aspinall talk and lost focus on Stipe.".

When you understand Jones has been in enough legitimate fight drama arama you realize all of his beefs with Stipe and Aspinall are all promo. He overplayed it with the I’m not going to fight him because he’s an asshole shtick. That’s ridiculous lol
