Media Alex Pereira rates fighters in terms of difficulty to fight.

I simply think at his best rakic looks more complete. I am very confident that I am correct. and I think downplaying the fact that Rakic's best wins are the same as ankalaev despite rakic getting them 2 years earlier is a huge disservice to all the fighters involved. anthony smith was "not in a better place" when he fought ankalaev. I believe time will vindicate me. and you'll all wonder why you slept on rakic, He can Wrestlefuck like one ones business and might just do it to magomed.
No one is sleeping on Rakic or downplaying him or other fighters. Your assertion that Rakic is more proven than Ank is the central idea being discussed and is one that has been shown not to be true. Framing it as sleeping on Rakic or whatever is disingenuous.

Time will not vindicate you regarding your assertion that he is more proven than Ank, because at the time you are making this argument it is simply not true.

Is Rakic better than what most people think? Yes. Can he beat Ank? Yes, of course. Can Rakic somehow get a TS and become champion? Yes, of course. However, no one is arguing that those are impossible so whatever he goes and does in the future is irrelevant to the discussion we are having.

It is actually worse. He has implied it in many of his interviews saying nothing, but negative things. He has ZERO respect for Dricus' accomplishments and salty anytime Dricus runs through his opponent. He has said openly Dricus is not skilled enough to be at the elite level. Even after he became the champion, he never once showed respect, but made excuses either by saying he did not deserve to win and his win was fluke or he claimed Dricus' opponent was sick or injured when Dricus finished him. This is someone who defeated everyone he went up against in UFC and who has won K-1 kickboxing, EFW and KSW championships in the past and has been doing martial arts since he was a child. On the ground, arguably he is better, stronger and bigger than anyone Poatan has ever faced. Dricus became a Judo blackbelt at the age of 14. Poatan saying such idiotic things only makes him look like a fool and if Dricus crushes him, it is going to make him look worse. I have far more respect for Dricus is a true martial artist and it was on display when he won against Adesanya at how he paid tribute to Adesanya and even hugged Adesanya's parents in victory. Can someone imagine how Adesanya would have acted, if he had won?

If ranking Dricus 4/10 below journeymen fighters does not give you the hint then nothing will. I will flip this around. I will challenge you to find me anything over the last 2 - 3 years where Poatan has said remotely positive about Dricus or any aspect of Dricus' skill set where he gave me any sort of credit. All of his predictions have been about Dricus losing his next fight. Once Dricus wins then they are excuses. Go ahead.
Brother, I wouldn't take this to heart or take it personally.

Fighters do this all the time to other fighters that they perceive as a threat or legit competitor. DDP vs Poatan is a realistic matchup that could happen down the line (and could have happened at MW if Alex stuck around), so Poatan is going to talk shit and needle DDP any chance he gets. This happens all the time in the UFC.

Lol would you say he's less proven?

Cannot disagree with that.
