No, without looking at the map I think that's right. But it still presumes other states hols against an incumbent.

I see. Just cant think of which states are primed to flip against the dems in 2020

Didn't realize how safe Colorado was. But Minnesota was only 1.5% margin and Nevada was 2.5% margin. Those would be two that come to mind.

Only state that was close and went blue I think was NH.

PA, MI, and WI are the states Trump needs to hold. All 3 are traditionally blue for potus (and all voted for Bernie in the primary last time).

Shit, I always forget about NH. That was 0.5% margin.

Trumps is facing a 55% disapproval rate in both. That's not enough to call both slam dunks for dems but I don't know if a Biden Kasich ticket flips them for the R's

But I can see your point

Bidens gun views may hurt him in NH. Don't know if adding Kasich cools that off.

I have no read on NH. Kasich certainly brings OH into play but that seems like a long shot. I do personally like Kasich (for a conservative), though. I tend to think the prez (and vp) particularly should be as palatable As possible to as many people as possible, so I usually prefer moderates with some integrity, and he seems to fit the bill. This election, though, I think Bernie is the best chance for the dems.

Yeah when your 1,2,3,4 rankings are the only 4 with any kind of statistically relevant shot, and they're clearly separated in the polling, then yeah that's kind of the ranking you have to go with lol.

So go to the most pro-Bernie youtube channel Secular Talk with Kyle.....

Holycrap....I like Kyle but some of his viewers are fkn retarded. Are they for real?

When it comes to youtube comments sections...usually these independent media comments sections are refreshing and civil. I'm gonna have to check Secular Talk off that list. I'll still watch Kyle, but I ain't reading his comments section anymore.

I feel like a big portion of them are lying their ass off - they were never pro Yang. They are pretending to be disaffected Yang fans. They are trying to spin this narrative that Yang just had a Kamala Harris or Marco Rubio moment when all the evidence says the opposite.

I think Kyle is genuinely worried about Yang and Tulsi peeling away support from Bernie -but more worried about Yang because many of Yang's supporters are former Bernie Bros.

Jimmy Dore meanwhile recently has been propping up Yang and criticizing Bernie a lot.

This is like when Tulsi said "My plan is medichoice. People will have the option of keeping their private insurance" and my god Kyle lost his shit and his audience is far worse.

My observation:

Some Bernie Bros sound delusional: ie one of them said:"Jimmy Dore interviewed Yang recently and was so disgusted he almost kicked him out"

-uh what interview did you watch? The one from ages ago when Jimmy was unsure about Yang....

or the video very recently where Jimmy Dore said "I like Yang more now...I mean I liked him from the beginning but I wasn't sure how serious he was" then his cohost says "Let's get Yang on our show again" --

Yang supporters in Kyle's comments section are very calm and analytical about everything. When they don't like something about Yang, they just say Ok thats too bad, I still support him though. Their comments are long paragraphs. They are very respectful towards the Bernie crowd (And Tulsi as well).

Bernie bros sound like a stereotype of a lazy, know it all, leftwing entitled millennial whining about everything. Kyle himself isn't alright and knows his shit...but his viewers are AWFUL.

BTW I support Bernie Sanders as my number two guy. 1st Yang, 2nd, Sanders, 3rd Tulsi, and 4th = I don't care about this election anymore.

Oh one more thing: some of the anti Yang comments were:

"He said nice things about Kamala and Booker! And he did not even mention Tulsi!! He is showing his true colors!!!" --wtf are you on? That's as dumb as people who whine about oscar winner forgetting a certain name to thank..

My takeaway - some Bernie Bros are in fear and lashing out. And I'm a Bernie supporter (my 2nd favored guy as I said)

What do you think of him as a VP candidate?

I think he'd be a solid pick, although VP is basically an electability pick and his Hispanic heritage, very-liberal views on immigration, and lacking of ties to any swing state could be dicey. He might boost the Latino vote, but I doubt he'd do anything to help swing Pennsylvania, Ohio, etc. I also suspect, even though he comes off as extremely sincere and non-slimy to me, that many...err, centrists, would have the opposite opinion.
