I never understood the dislike for Garry general, he’s very skilled but it was overlooked because of his attitude & confidence. From clips i’ve seen of him backstage and his conversations with other fighters, he comes off as a good dude compared to the fans talk about him.

People just hate on winners in general, he’s winning in life so it’s probably just jealousy.

Personally, I just don't like his character, seems a little fake, and his trash talk vs Magny was weird.
But he is a good fighter.

From what I noticed, others don't like him because they are incels and they invent rumours about him or get into some personal stuff.
Sean Strickland said something about him, so others followed.

It's funny because the fans got over Sean O'Malley's sexual stuff about his open relationship much faster.

When he fought an almost 40 year old Michael Venom Page, it was blatantly obvious Page had a speed advantage on the feet. After Garry took a few shots, he did some cheesy ass holding on for dear life backpack strategy to ride out a cheap decision.
