Why all the hate for Bo ?

I don't get it, I am not a big fan of him either. I don't recall him shitting on RDR in the presser, but I might have missed something - I recall him respecting the threat from RDRs game.

RDR skillset is poised to give anyone in the 185 div problems, his clinch and knees would have had 99.9% of the roster on their knees.

The biggest thing I have learned is that Bo doesn't belong in MW, he needs to go down to 170 to have a chance of being champ. He was way too outsized and outmuscled , I think the fight would have gone much different if they were similarly sized, but he looked quite frail in comparison to RDR imo.

As much as I hated Bo's overly inflated confidence on the back of the cans he beat, he put up a decent fight for someone who only has 7 fights in his professional career (RDR had 21).

It's never, ever a legitimate hate of the actual individual.

It's a hatred of the lazy ass hype system the UFC uses so infrequently.

Any idiot could see Bo was nowhere near the level he was being hyped and pushed at.

Anyone who gets the Dana White push is going to be unpopular on Sherdog unless they're actually world class simply because the Dana White push is never directed at the actual best/most promising fighter.

As others have posted I think it is because the ufc has been trying to force him to be a star taking places on ppv main cards over other well deserving fighters. And for the first couple of fights they were bringing in regional level fighters from small orgz to pad his record which was hella shitty.

The UFC didn't really bring in people from small organizations to fight Bo (unless you count his 2 fights on DWCS).

His UFC debut was against Jamie Pickett, who wasn't very good but had already had several UFC fights by that point. Then his second UFC fight was against Valentine Woodburn, who was brought in as a late-notice replacement only because Tresean Gore pulled out. Woodburn isn't good, but at least he was undefeated on the regionals at the time.

Then his third fight was against Cody Brundage, again someone who's not very good but already has a lot of UFC fights under his belt.

If you don't understand, no one should feel the need to explain to you why.

Have you heard that moron speak? Saying that people can suck his **** and that he'll spit in their faces.
The entire right wing nut act (or maybe he really is that way in real life.
Insisting that every "analyst" who criticized his performances against cody and craig "don't know anything. My team is honest and I listen to them and they told me I dominated ALL the rounds. I'm ready right now to rag doll Chimaev if you put him in a cage with me. He can't hang with me".

Getting destroyed the way he just did by a number 15 ranked guy and quitting was fun to see for some people, given this knucklehead's behaviour.

Pickett already had 6 UFC fights, Brundage had 8 fights, and Paul Craig has had 19 UFC fights with wins over Ankalaev, Jamahal Hill and Shogun.

The "taking places on PPV cards" is just a weird reach for a complaint. He's never been main or co-main on a PPV or gotten PPV points, so if you're all the way down to complaining that someone was the 7th fight out of 12 instead of the 4th out of 12, then it's probably because you're out of real complaints. I didn't see anyone complaining about Gokhan Saki being put on a PPV main card with a 1-1 record against someone who was 2-3 and would definitely not try to take him down.

Bum Nickal acts as 12yo wanna-be-tough-kid on the yard, telling he gonna fuck everyone up
but when the shit comes together he says his mom is calling him and he needs to go home asap
but tomorrow he will defo fuck everyone up

sadly for Bum Nickal, someone blocked the entrance for him after the school next day, so he had to back his shit up and failed

What’s his mma record? I didn’t know this was his first fight.

Because obvious hype jobs are annoying. I don't like Dana White telling me 'Listen, you don't have to care about details, this guy is a fucking star and an elite fighter!'

It gets old. If I was into that lame bullshit I'd watch pro wrestling.
