Why all the hate for Bo ?

He trash-talks a lot of fighters who are way better than him, while he has never put in the work to transition from wrestling to MMA
He remembers a bit of Askren or Abdouraguimov, in MMA for the money but doesn't want to learn striking skills
Bens not really a good example for a couple reasons. He would take a beating and not quit. Also he would go out on his shield trying to use his best skill to win. This is a guy who kept taking Maia down he didn't care if he lost by getting choked out.

This is just your standard stuff after someone loses for the first time. It’ll all be over by Monday

Yep Abdouraguimov did the same with Haratyk
I guess, to be successful as a pure grappler, you have to be able to be the nail and still go for your bread and butter whatever happens

Bo took another step up vs a tough skilled opponent with more experience. This was good experience for Bo , hopefully he learns and adapts. Fortunately there is a recovery path for one of Bo’s ailments. Bo can bounce back but his climb to contention likely will take longer and be harder than his previous estimate.

He's just very arrogant and talked shit about fighters who are ranked higher than him while he didn't do anything but beat cans.

And today we saw he quit after things got tough for him. Would be please to see him lose more often in the future

He says some stupid things, had a fight recently that failed to excite for many and he's seen as having received preferential treatment.

Basically this.

I am hoping though that he returns stronger and improved but lets see.

I don't hate him, but that Craig fight was really unimpressive to me and he acted like it was actually a great performance. Still, I wasn't even rooting against him in this fight either. But damn. Imagine what Khamzat would do to this guy

Because he's constantly been putting everyone in his weight class down, as if he was top tier fighter himself. The only time I've seen him being humble and giving praise was recently for Khamzat, which was surprising. We saw tonight, the guy has quit in him.

Was challenged for real and he shrunk. He did not rise to the occasion. This guy has been talking like he will be champion any day and he may get better after this for all we know, but he's not that level right now, let alone two years ago.

Guy got to stop being dismissive of everyone, like he'll walk through them. That's where this comes from.
What do you do for a living to talk about a fighter having "quit in him"? I'm assuming you are very successful

I don't get it, I am not a big fan of him either. I don't recall him shitting on RDR in the presser, but I might have missed something - I recall him respecting the threat from RDRs game.

RDR skillset is poised to give anyone in the 185 div problems, his clinch and knees would have had 99.9% of the roster on their knees.

The biggest thing I have learned is that Bo doesn't belong in MW, he needs to go down to 170 to have a chance of being champ. He was way too outsized and outmuscled , I think the fight would have gone much different if they were similarly sized, but he looked quite frail in comparison to RDR imo.

As much as I hated Bo's overly inflated confidence on the back of the cans he beat, he put up a decent fight for someone who only has 7 fights in his professional career (RDR had 21).

I think most people watching that fight saw that his body language seemed to shift when things didn't go his way.

Some fighters have a great poker face and act unaffected by damage, Bo isn't one of them.

The way he got stuck against the fence grimacing from the knees and short punches to the head didn't look great.

That's not to say that I would react any better, since I'm not a professional fighter regularly fighting on main cards of big PPVs.

Most fighters lose. Good ones come back wiser. Cejudo lost convincingly to a more experienced DJ but equaled him on rematch then beat a few other tough opponents. Now CCC old. GSP tapped to strikes since he was defeated. Bo took some hard shots hurt and drained him. Bo was not likely to come back so no point taking unnecessary damage. Not a good look and sets him back but he can reset then assess his future.

Bum Nickal acts as 12yo wanna-be-tough-kid on the yard, telling he gonna fuck everyone up
but when the shit comes together he says his mom is calling him and he needs to go home asap
but tomorrow he will defo fuck everyone up

sadly for Bum Nickal, someone blocked the entrance for him after the school next day, so he had to back his shit up and failed
