Who will become champion first next year 2025? Khamzat or Shavkat?

Belal has a solid shot at beating Shavkat IMO, time just isn't on his side right now and he's the oldest WW champion the UFC's had

I see it the exact same way bro. Belal may be the better fighter but at this point it could be the intangibles that make him lose.

He was late to his throne unfortunately. Because of this, he likely wont be on it long. (like glover)

Strickland absolutely did not deserve a title rematch and nobody wants to watch that stinker again. Makes me fairly confident Khamzat isn't ready to go for whatever reason(s)

Shavkat is going to face Belal in 2025, or they will give him an interim title. Either way it is overwhelmingly likely Shavkat fights for a belt in the next 6 months, and he's got good odds at winning.

Who knows when we see Khamzat fight again.

I hope it's shavkat because I don't need the decision machine to be champ. WW has been boring for a while. Belal seems like a good dude but he is the most boring good fighter I have ever watched.

Shavkat will probably be the first one to get the titleshot but I'm not sure he will win. Khamzat is too inactive so it's hard to tell, he will probably win the title but will he actually end up with a title fight?
