Who should Usyk fight next?🤔

I havent met the man and felt his punches but his mechanics are excellent for power with good back recruitment.

So it will inevitably produce good force. But he isn't a strong man . If he was, with those types of punches, he would be wrecking dudes. Fury wouldn't be able to eat them round after round.

But nobody has everything.
In terms of power Usyk has never been a puncher but he has accurate punch placement and good timing. Fury was able to eat those shots because he's so much bigger that it helped him absorb it. Physically Usyk is very strong. He shut down Fury's usual tactics in the clinch and shoved him off when necessary.

Not sure what the WBO is thinking. Usyk is going to rematch Dubois next in an undisputed title fight. Unifications take precedence over mandatories. If that fight doesn't happen next then that's when they should order their mandatory. They've jumped the gun.

WBO Regulations’—Section 1(b), Clause 5

(a) The World Championship Committee (hereinafter the Committee) shall be composed
of five members: the WBO President, ex-officio, and four (4) members, including the
Chairman of the Committee (hereinafter the Chairman), who shall be appointed by the
President. The members of this Committee, upon appointment, shall hold office until their
successors have been appointed. In the event that the Chairman is unavailable, the WBO
President shall have all powers and authority of the Chairman. (b) The World
Championship Committee shall have the following powers and discretion:

(5) To approve the terms and conditions under which a Champion may extend
the time for a Mandatory challenge so as to compete in a Unification Bout or
a Unification Tournament;

In the WBO's own words…
unification fights take precedence over defences ordered by governing bodies.

such unification, would take precedence over the rights afforded to the winner of the elimination bout

“The proposed rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois, for the undisputed heavyweight title, could be bound for London’s Wembley Stadium, according to Usyk’s promoter.”
'We are working on Oleksandr Usyk-Daniel Dubois II'

Holy shit. This is almost unimaginable. If Usyk does go to Dubois' backyard then it will be the craziest move of his career. Even more so than him going to Russia to fight Gassiev after the Crimean invasion.

Why is that? He fought Joshua in the UK. Because Usyk would be the A Side?

Most of Usyk's notable wins have come in his opponents' backyards but this is even riskier given the low blow controversy against Dubois last time. Not to mention that Dubois is arguably the dirtiest top level fighter in boxing today. Besides frequent dick punching he also uses his head like a battering ram as he did against Hrgovic. Usyk is the A-side, and he has a pretty good following in the UK, but the BBBofC would be sanctioning this fight and Dubois is their fighter.
