You seem to be making the case that the way people win is important - which is the wrong route to go down for Garry fansI agree. I also understand why people would rather see Morales who's more exciting and a more fascinating match-up vs. Islam. But their resumes aren't even close. The MVP win is also pretty impressive for Garry. He's the only guy who's beaten Page in the UFC and one of only 3 career losses for MVP. I'm not sure if Morales could beat Page without using his alleged childhood wrestling/judo background. Page is 3 inches taller with the same reach, and would negate most everything Morales does well in striking. Morales might KO him like Lima did, but I don't see him winning a pure striking fight that goes the distance.
