What fight that left you so shocked that couldn’t get over it

Cruz vs garbrandt.

how did he make it look so easy?
It was similar to the Holly vs Ronda fight. One of the fighters had a significant striking technique advantage. They were able to see a weakness in the opponent's defense and exploited it. And they both have unimpressive records afterwards because most top fighters do not have such glaring weaknesses.

Oliveira vs Makhachev had me straight up depressed for awhile.

Jones vs Reyes had me wanting to curse out the judges.

Oliveira beating Poirier had me on cloud 9 for like a month

What were some of yours?

Only fight that caused such a reaction from me that i stood up and shouted was when Gonz kicked Crocop in the head (and he fell down on his ankle)

I was in shock!

Max vs Volk 2 - could not believe he didn’t get the decision. I’m over ut now, I think lol

I watched that fight with my twin brother, I try to watch all the big cards with him when we're in the same country, and this is the only fight we could never agree on the winner. I love Max but I had Volk winning, he pulls for Volkanovski and he has Max winning. Weird fight.

A.Silva vs Sonnen 1. I was at a bar with my future wife watching with nothing but Chael fans around. They were signing and laughing about how shitty the Spider was and how it was like Christmas watching the beating he was taking. I was borderline depressed.
Then Silva slapped on the triangle in the last round and forced the tap. I was amazed and left the bar on a high that has not since been duplicated.

How ****** Anderson freaking Silva was? He was the most dominant MW champion ever.

Silva/Griffin, not the result, which still was pretty surprising, but was just a masterclass performance start to finish with someone looking like they came straight from a movie. It was like watching the matrix in real life. I still sort of will rewatch any of the slow motion gifs that get posted because I think it was such a special moment in mma. Just once in a lifetime perfect flawless fight.

Anderson vs chael 1

After the marquardt fight, I had a feeling he was going to do the same to Anderson.

From the first punch, it was all coming true. Had a bet on that fight, and the dude even in the 5th pulled out his money counting it getting ready for the bell, then chael had to go out the chael way.

All that work chael did for 24 mins, just to get submitted. I just threw the money down and left

Shogun vs Griffin 1 still makes me angry to this day.

Tony vs Gaethje. What if that uppercut had landed in the middle of the round? We could've got Tony vs Khabib (although it would be bittersweet not having Abdulmanap there). Would the Tony that didn't take that beating have still lost to Dariush and Oliveira? I still think about it.

TKZ vs Volk was fucked up. Not sure I'll ever rewatch that...the finish feels too messed up to be included in promos. Feels better knowing TKZ had one last competitive showing vs Holloway.

I'm confident that in a rematch, Cyborg would destroy Nunes. But the rematch never happened, and it bothers me to this day.

That is one of those moments in life you never forget exactly where you were when it happened.

I have come full circle with Volk. Hated him for beating Max, became a big fan, then was saddened when Islam smeshed him in their second fight.

I think my spirit is still sitting on the couch at my buddies old house, staring all perplexed at the TV after Cro Cop got head kicked by Gonzaga.

Late to this thread, but Joe Lauzon KOing Pulver in under a minute blew my mind at the time.

Conor vs Khabib only because of the chaotic ending, Dillion Danis is OP
