I think he's more likely to fight Diego Lopes moving up rather than Torres.

Pimblett & Tsarukyan are much less likely to take a fight on short notice, perhaps if Oliveira chooses one of them they will just move the fight to the November or December PPV.

They are coming in on short notice, to enemy territory, while he has been preparing for war

You would think he’d take anybody under those circumstances

You would definitely think he would accept a fight vs any top fighter who can step in who can make 155 lbs on short notice, especially considering Oliveira is only a few years removed from reigning over the decision and continues to keep saying "the champion has a name".

The Mexican could be El Loco as much as Diego Lopes,
who would be the Colombian? Or would it be the flag of Armenia?
And who would be the Englishman?

Pimblett & Tsarukyan are not options...

People act like he's a bear trap or a land mind or something you cannot encroach on the ground, you can literally jump into his guard and beat the fuck out of him, Most people who do well against him just dive in to him on the ground and beat him this way.

Lamas, Felder, Edgar, Islam, Armen, pettis, Miller all beat him on the ground. Chandler almost had him finished on the ground after pursuing him there too. His offensensive grappling is good, but defensively? he can get Tko'd or subbed like anyone else.
100% many just skip to "Olivera has the most submissions, why would he be afraid of a wrestler", crazy how even after Islam did it you still have people thinking he's subbing everyone. He hasn't subbed anyone since Gaethje and Poirier when he was champ in 2022, that was more of a club and sub too.

you dont have to be that good top position to keep charles down, He'll stay there and lose the fight willingly
If he's staying there and landing strikes off his back and threatening subs while Gamrot is freaking out just trying to maintain some semblance of "top control" then there's a good chance he won't be losing the fight at all.

I guess we'll have to see

Charles accepted the fight.

It's funny how much one misinterpreted interview allowed you guys to shit on Charles. The same thing happened to him before he accepted the Topuria fight. I'm beginning to suspect their are Charles haters who intentionally take liberties with his words 😅

charles already knows he's gonna get ragdolled, I've been calling this match to be made for a long time.

I think after this one everyone will finally agree with me that charles ground game isn't very good.
Come on he almost submitted tsarukyan. Took Ferguson arm. Took poirier's back and strangled him.
