Why wouldnt they? They've fought pretty much everyone and every style under the sun and gamrot is the least dangerous ranked opponent you can find. For a guy that's nursing a questionable chin like charles, you're not going to get a better matchup than gamrot while having the match up still be relevant.

I think it's more likely that gamrot isnt ready and he doesn't take the fight if it even gets offered.

Because Gamrot can beat Charles in a boring fight. His team is kind of a no-brainer, but I think they'd rather give him and the audience someone exciting like BSD, for example.


Besides, win or lose, Gamrot would be horrible....

Why would Fiziev be the favorite? Gaethje beat Fiziev twice and Charles knocked Gaethje out.

Sound logic. MMAth isn’t always reliable. Oliveira never had a great chin and it’s gonna be even worse after getting throttled by Topuria.

I like it. I think Gamrot works this version of Charles and he's always willing to take fights. Unlike the rest of the division
