I’m not a big whiskey drinker but sampled some Walker at a large box-store that had samples. They even had blue label free samples and I liked the flavor, but went with black label. Gonna sip on this thru the day since I have looong way to go before this hunk of beef is ready

Ever since I got back from my Christmas travels last week, I’ve been fighting with a little sinus thing. I never was super sick, but it did fuck up my sense of taste a bit. I’m really hoping it’s back to normal today, because we’re going out for dinner and I also planned to break out some of my best whiskeys.

Dinner: gf and I are going out for a 5 course meal. The restaurant offers 3 options to choose from for each course, should be delicious.

After that we are just vegging at home (I’m too old to want to do that NYE party bullshit anymore).

Planning on breaking out my favorite whiskies. Probably won’t drink ALL of these, but some combination of them depending on what I’m in the mood for.

To toast the new year: either Rip Van Winkle 10 Year or Knob Creek 18:

Theoughout the evening though, I’d like to bust out my Jack Daniel 12 Year, Stagg Jr, Joseph Magnus Cigar Blend, Little Book, Old Elk Infinity Blend…basically any whiskey I save for special occasions is fair game tonight
