Everything was going well, until Zelensky, who did minor jabs throughout, basically says Trump did nothing during his first term (despite lots of things like sanctioning nordstream 2, Iran who supplies Russia, got NATO countries to pay more, gave Ukraine weapons). And then to say Trump’s admin is dumb in terms of foreign relations lol.

Now you have lots of people like this claiming it is trumps fault, they are trashy blah blah. Zelensky had apparently agreed to the deal and this was all formal. Planned a lunch, had set up the area to sign the bill, etc. this was all planned and on the schedule. There was nothing left to discuss behind closed doors, unless Zelensky didn’t want to sign. But they had already prepared the schedule for him to sign lol

The Norwegian government is obviously not going to do anything crazy overnight (you know, since they’re not completely insane and unpredictable like Trump and his little cuck Vance). But the outrage amongst Norwegian politicians on both the right and left has been visceral and clear these past days. Erna Solberg (conservatives) has condemned what happened in the Oval, as has our current PM (labour). People are absolutely disgusted.

The one i don't understand is why come to Washington if the deal isn't completely agreed. that's the whole reason heads of state make these kinds of trips. to sign a document that's been worked by the second echelon of negotiators. you fly to sign it when you know you'll sign it.

i don't think it was a conspiracy with the euro leaders. in fact a counterargument to that is how retarded it looks to have all post the same shit. how it probably happened is they have group chats and agreed on a form of text for a fast response and all of them forgot to change it up a bit when they sent it down the chain, so that's why it looks like AI wrote it.

but if Zelenski was there to sign a deal and the deal was agreed upon and he reneged, it makes him look like a dipshit. if however he knew of one deal, got to washington and suddenly the deal was different and they just wanted to bully him into signing it, then trump and vance are the dipshits.

Again, they’re not insane enough to just randomly break relations overnight. They’re not Trump. But that does not mean that the damage has not been done to America’s credibility amongst allies. This will take a long time to repair and it can only start under when a new administration is in place.
