Elections Trump picks JD Vance for VP

Do you like this Trump pick for VP?

The dude was born James Donald Bowman, then became James David Hamel and now James David Vance.
Who the fuck has 3 different names and why change Donald to David? I guess he identifies as a David. Then he claims to have been poor like Kid Rock claims to have grown up in the hood.
Then JD whatever his last name is, becomes Peter Thiel's boy who is a giant weirdo, Theil believes young peoples blood can make him immortal. The dude was a horrible choice. You dont pick a VP who is your clone. That does nothing to move the needle.
Vance has a lot of weird shit in his background. Also he needs to tone down the eyeliner.

I mean, Bowman was the name of his biological dad and Hamel was the name of her mother's third husband who adopted him. Vance was his mother's maiden name and the last name of the grandparents who actually raised him, so he chose that name for himself later in life because those are the people he identified with. No idea about the Donald/David thing.

I mean considering Trump is old and was just almost assassinated.. I'd say his VP pick is pretty fucking important in this election.
The vp pick is always important on some level but Trump could have picked Kamala and would still win. No one wants the establishment anymore... Some pretend and some are completely hypnotized but that might make up 20% of people who will vote, imo...

I've read this book and that isn't in there. One clue: it's a memoir, not a novel as this tweet claims - so I'm sad to report that this is fake news, glorious though it would have been.
Thanks for this comment.

I was about to ask if there is any believable truth in the "fucked a couch" claims, or even a "Sean McCorkle" type of reading to arrive to this scenario. You saying it's full on bullshit with no basis in what Vance actually wrote?

This is not 2016. A black woman will never be considered the establishment by most people in America. And I think you're overestimating how much people care about the establishment anyway.

Trump is the establishment lol. That's what you guys don't seem to understand. Why do you think Republicans have shit the bed in every election since 2016?

He probably should have kept the childless cat lady comment to himself true as it may be. Likely to lose more votes than win.
Probably not a big deal either way as the people offended were unlikely to vote Trump but it might motivate some lazy cat ladies to get out of their cat infested house and vote.

I'm a childless cat gentleman lol and the thing that scares me the most is dying as a childless cat gentleman. I guarantee 99.9% of the cat ladies would rather have someone in their life. That being said... there are ways to talk about leaders being childless and make a valid point about it, and then there are ways to offend and hurt people's feelings.

Congrats Vance, you fucked up.

This is an interesting take from this cop.

Vance ought to realize that he was brought in to play the straight man to Trump's circus act, kind of like Pence did.

Trump has plenty of bark by himself, there's no need to add to it. What Trump lacks is legitimacy and that's what the VP is supposed to bring to table by acting stoic and reasonable, making logical arguments to explain Trump's erratic behaviour and decision-making.

It's been a few years since I read it, but I'm pretty sure I'd have remembered him fucking a couch.

I'm on holiday and don't have the book with me, but I did a quick google and it's being reported that the original tweet contains a page number and there is nothing like that on the page involved, so ya it's completely false.
