False. Trump’s deal was conditional based on Taliban’s actions.

Trump didn’t intend on lying to people about the strength of the paper Afghan government so his deal would’ve ended if the Taliban made moves before the US completed a clean evacuation. If they had moved on Kabul while the US was still moving out. Then the deal was off.

They would’ve waited in the mountains while Trump pulled out and then the following days would see them takeover as Trump rightly anticipated when he dealt directly with the Taliban to craft his agreement.

They obviously didn’t have the same respect for Biden. And Biden didn’t force the conditions Trump/Pompeo set. He cut the Taliban out completely.

In fact, Biden simply lied and pretended that the Afghan army would hold on it’s own. An obvious lie.

Granted, Trump would’ve still left some equipment. As the equipment wasn’t so much “abandoned” as it was the artillery for the worthless Afghan army that couldn’t be bother to defend themselves for one day and thus shouldn’t have been in our evacuation plans.

It would’ve been considerably less had Trump been in office but I bet even Trump thought those pussies could last atleast a day.
