I'm more in the middle.
First and foremost - not ok to ignore Constitution or rulings by the Supreme Court. That's completely unacceptable (and Trump won't be able to get away with it for long - this is temporary)
But I do want mass deportations. There are about 600K illegal immigrants with some kind of criminal record in the country as well as 2.4 million with EXISTING deportation orders. Meaning a judge already gave a final ruling to have them deported.
Then there are several million with ongoing asylum cases with only 700+ judges. Cases take years for one person. Then there are several million with some kind of temporary protected status. This is according to the NY Times and not some right wing publication.
We literally do not have enough ICE agents, judges, facilities and infrastructure to actually deport just the criminals and existing deportees. So that is the primary problem. Not enough judges, agents and facilities to house deportees.
I do want a pathway to citizenship for people who were brought here illegally as little kids (DACA) and also people who have been here for like 15-20 years and have a job, pay taxes, and no criminal record, etc.
I want the rest of the illegals out ASAP. And to hire more judges and process the literal millions of asylum cases processed much faster. The vast majority of them do not actually qualify. They're just relying on the system being so backed up, that they end up staying here.
