Social ICE snatches Wrong Teen — Now He’s in El Salvador’s Supermax with No Charges

So this story isn’t getting nearly enough attention…

Merwil Gutiérrez, a 19-year-old Venezuelan kid living in the Bronx, got picked up by ICE even though agents admitted he wasn’t their target. According to reports, the ICE officers literally said, “Take him anyway.” He had no criminal record, no tattoos, no gang ties—nothing.

They deported him to El Salvador, not even his home country, under some 1798-era Alien Enemies Act that Trump revived. And now? He’s locked up in CECOT, El Salvador’s mega-prison built to house actual gangsters and cartel enforcers. This is a kid who was filing for asylum and had a court date in 2027. Now he’s vanished into a prison system that’s been compared to Gitmo mixed with The Raid.

Meanwhile, no charges, no hearing, and ICE’s own detainee system doesn’t even list him anymore.

Let that sink in: A teenager with no record is rotting in a foreign supermax, and the U.S. government just ghosted him.

the flag-fucking maga trash self-proclaimed constitutionalists and patriots need to know if they have the wrong color skin first before they decide whether or not they should clap like seals for fascism when random people get shipped to concentration camps out of country without due process.

just as long as it isn't them who gets dicked around by customs and immigration the grumble of filthy magats couldn't care less.

“I’m from the government and I’m here to help”

I’m starting to think all these stories like this coming out is intentional. Oops, we snatched up the wrong guy and sent him to hell again, better mind your p’s and q’s or we might accidentally send you there too.

I think there's definitely an element of truth to that. They've even been sending out deportation letters to some natural born US citizens. Obviously, they say "by mistake", but when you combine that with the fact that trump openly talked about sending US citizens to el salvador, and the lack of due process, it becomes scary as shit for anyone in this country. There's clearly a tactic of trying to instill fear amongst anyone who opposes the administration's ideology, and it is seen from their reckless deportation practices, their attack on free media, their attack on education, and their attack on law firms.

It might get to the stage where it's a game of "can you produce documentation quickly enough".

That's a terrifying thought.

I understand the people who want justice and rules to be followed.. truly, I get it.. but I don't know how those same people could justify unnecessary cruelty as part of that process.

The personnel who made this happen need to be investigated and removed from their positions.
The general observation now is the cruelty is the point with Trump's administration. Trump gets people so riled up that his platform becomes less about solving problems and more about punishing and exacting revenge on those who he gives the impression are attacking us. He basically makes his base downright blood thirsty. Unfortunately this is not an uncommon tactic in history to get people to be okay with atrocities being carried out.

I see that the dad, uncle and the "young adult " left Venezuela for better jobs - Pops was even working for the state. Sad story all the way around.

Hopefully he's included in the prisoner swap El Salvador is seeking with Venezuela.

It wasn't the person they were looking for, and the person they mistakenly grabbed just happened to be another Venezuelan illegal who took the cartel route?

The "wrong person" and "no gang affiliation" is based entirely on his cousin just saying it to a pro open borders group called "documented NY". The last guy democrats claimed was "not and criminal and no gang affiliation" was a ranking member of MS13 and a wife beater, so we'll take the "no gang affiliation" with a grain of soy.

Much rather imagine a world where d*ckheads didnt think theh had some inherent right to dictate where people can and cant live because they are different.
Are you referring to me as a dickhead? You might be retarded

He's clearly retarded, did you not see the rest of his post, and his subsequent doubling down on saying citizens/countries don't have any right to decide who moves into their country? Yes, that's right, the guy who wants a far more expansive welfare state also thinks that it should be wide open to any of the 8 billion in the world who want to come here and collect it.

For reference, there are 3.5 billion people who make less than $7/day, so if they get to pick from a menu of which country offers the best welfare benefits, all that country would need to do is bump its GDP up to about $200 trillion and tax it at 100% and we'd be all set.

Ive said it once, and i'll say it a million times. I have no sympathy for these illegal aliens. Listen to Tom Homan and the Trump admin, and SELF DEPORT!
Otherwise suffer the consequences landing in CECOT.

So you are just completely against the American constitution at this point?
I think asking for "due process" for over 20 million illegal immigrants that Biden let in, is a bit much.

I also think the Democrats are counting on these "constitutional" rules, to allow them to play their games. It would take about 900 years to properly "process" all these illegals before deporting them, and that was obviously the plan. Shame about the guy in the White House who sees through their bullshit, and doesn't mess around.

As long as you’re mask off about wanting the constitution thrown in the trash

I'm "mask off" about solving problems pragmatically.

Funny how you never come at "certain" people this bluntly, when they want to ignore the 2nd amendment. I guess that's a constitutional right that's more flexible in your mind...

Funny how that one amendment is the only one you think is important. Why is that?

"aLl ThE bRoWn PeOpLe WaNt Is TeH wElFaRe!"

Sure you can make up bullsh*t no one said, along with nonsense pseudo-intellectual economic hysteria, but all it does is prove my point that people like you and baddie-can just want an ideologically (and racially if possible) homogeneous ethnostate. You just dont have the stones to say it outright, which is why you need to imply that anyone who wants to live here whose business you dont already know is some kind of criminal. Nothing more retarded than living in that kind of isolationist World.

Just tickles me that clowns like you will say stupid sh*t like this and then go out for Mexican food.

Russian scientists who fled in disagreement with the War on Ukraine.

"Petrova’s case and the detention of academics across the country has damaged the ability of universities in the United States to recruit and retain leading talent, experts and Petrova’s colleagues said. In fields where expertise is often highly specialized, the loss of talent could have dire consequences globally for the future of medicine and scientific discovery. Scientists and faculty members are planning to leave institutions across the country, legal experts said, because they’re worried that their visas could be revoked or that they could be swept up in immigration actions.

“I would call it a grinding machine,” Petrova, who spoke with NBC News from the Louisiana facility, said about being detained. “We are in this machine, and it doesn’t care if you have a visa, a green card, or any particular story. ... It just keeps going.”

Dr. Leon Peshkin, a principal research scientist at Harvard’s Department of Systems Biology and Petrova’s manager and mentor, received a call from Customs and Border Protection on Feb. 16 after agents detained Petrova at Logan International Airport in Boston for failing to declare samples of frog embryos to be used in scientific research.

Romanovsky said that CBP typically imposes two penalties for such customs violations: the forfeiture of the items and a fine, usually around $500, and that “for a first-time violation, the fine is typically reduced to $50.” Instead, officials canceled Petrova’s J-1 scholar visa.

“It appears to be part of a broader effort to create an unwelcoming and hostile environment for noncitizens,” Romanovsky said.

A DHS spokesperson told NBC News on Monday that Petrova had been “lawfully detained after lying to federal officers about carrying substances into the country.”

“They asked if I have any biological samples in my luggage. I said yes,” Petrova said before describing her confusion over procedures and an interrogation by Customs and Border Patrol officers.

“Nobody knew what was happening to me. I didn’t have any contact, not to my lawyer, not to Leon, not to anybody. And the next day, they didn’t say what would happen. I was waiting in a cell,” she said."

Nothing more to this than giving everyone in the World the impression that this is a hostile Country. Revoking Visas, deporting people who are backpacking and not necessarily staying in hotels, detaining US Citizens and residents who are traveling and treating them as if they're guilty of something. It's just a blatant show of utter hostility, as a broad policy.
