Crime Trump Administration Sent Legal Immigrant to Prison in El Salvador

When folks say the racism is systematic…

Does recorded history only go back to 2018?

Perhaps you should Google that.

It’s my favorite Republican catch-22. When border crossings are low and there guy is in charge, it’s bc he’s got a secure border. When crossings are low under a democrat the republicans say that democrats are only catching a small amount.
During Clinton & Obama they inflated the deportation numbers by adding in the 'turned away at border' numbers.

Biden didn't give a flying fuck. He trusted his idiot press secretaries to tell convincing lies.

Yea I already confirmed the the administration fucked up by not getting the withholding order removed. But that's such a small formality because that order would have easily been removed.

This guy was supposed to be deported, had an existing deportation order this entire time (contrary to all the media reports crying that he is legally in the country), is a wife beater, is probably a gang member, and the only thing stopping it was an order saying don't send him to El Salvador. And even when he was initially arrested in 2019, he was with two other MS-13 gang members.

So who fucking cares. I can give two fucks about an MS-13 gang member who beats his wife and has an existing deportation order and is only staying in due to a small technicality.

You care so deeply because you initially believed all the reports that he was this completely innocent guy that is not in a gang and wrongly deported.

Your argument is, broadly, "The guy is a piece of shit and the court process was a formality, so who cares?"

That leads me to think -> Should Luigi Mangione be executed already? Like first day or two? The guy is obviously guilty. He's obviously a horrible piece of shit. Housing murderers is expensive and time consuming and we don't have the budget for that. Can we just kill him because the court hearing is clearly a formality at this point?

If the answer is "No that's different because he's a US citizen", then my follow up is - should we deport El Chapo back to Mexico and Ramzi Yousef to Pakistan because they are horrible people but again - it's expensive and time consuming to house them - so can we just send them home instead?

here trump argues vehemently that the photo-shopped LIE of MS13 on those knuckles was really true.

No normal person actually sees that picture and thinks those English letters are part of the picture.

You have to be pretty dense to take that literally.

When you have such a broken immigration system that it literally takes years to even see a judge, and then a new President gets a mandate from the people to start deporting people, some immigrants are going to fall through the cracks. It's unavoidable.

But at the end of the day, what should have happened happened. A person that is a wife beater and illegal and very probably a gang member is in his home country.

What you're proposing - bringing him back is completely ridiculous. Because he will just get deported again. Like immediately.

As for Luis Mangione, he should be exonerated for doing a public service.

Lmao at "fall through the cracks"
This guy was put directly into prison with no trial in the one country he wasn't supposed to be sent to. This is the disingenuous horseshit I was talking about earlier

If the case is a slam dunk as you say it is, then a flight back would cost a couple hundred bucks on Spirit Airlines at worst.

Instead, we are going to go through tons of litigation, pay court / legal fees, drawing out the process, raising appeals, risking contempt and dividing the country further? The result might be what you consider "done", but this is still costing more taxpayer dollars instead of just simply overturning it.

All because fuck that paperwork? idk homie

*fuck that paperwork so I can feel powerful

No it wouldn't because there's flight both ways, the cost of adjudicating it again, court costs, everything - all of those things cost money. And for what? A political stunt? It's going to be the same result.

On top of that, he'll be sent to CECOT again initially. So he will get fucked over too.

There were specific Biden policies that created this recent border crisis that let in literally millions of people. Before Biden, there was a "Remain in Mexico" program when people filed for asylum there. He got rid of it and instead instituted catch and release. Meaning anyone gets caught sneaking in, they get a court date (years into the future) and just released into the country.

He allowed people to come in using the CBP One app. He also greatly expanded letting people in from all over the world using humanitarian parole.

In summary, he created a disaster at the border. So much in fact, that local Democratic governors in heavy blue states started protesting.
