Crime Trump Administration Sent Legal Immigrant to Prison in El Salvador

“But I have suggested that, you know, ‘Why should it stop just at people who cross the border illegally?’”

-Donald Trump on deporting US citizens.

“So, the president has discussed this idea quite a few times publicly, he’s also discussed it privately,”

-trumps press secretary
Citizen deportation starts once the EO is signed making anti Brazilian speech and thoughts illegal.

Do we have confirmation this guy is even still alive
The guy who fled his country to escape the threats from violent gang members? Whom a judge heard and believed his claims? Who was locked up with those very same gang members?

I’m not sure what those odds are looking like but it ain’t lookin good. Every day that goes by it becomes less likely he makes it back

If the only response you can muster is an expression of vulgarity, you should have had the self respect to not respond. Nothing in my post had even the slightest intent of being personal. I am not upset with you, I just expected better.

Thanks dad. But if you're making excuses for blatant Constitutional violations by this administration you can fuck off. Nothing personal.

Guess I got to eat crow on this one before one of the lefties @‘s me even though it’s a sickening display of judicial overreach.

I was wrong about the end result of this. Surprisingly way wrong

I haven’t gone through the ruling completely(or at all really) , some have said it’s not as bad as it seems..and it was unanimous, which means the Based Duo(Alito and Thomas) also agreed.

But it’s a shame. Courts can’t dictate communications between countries.

What’s tomorrow? “Facilitate” the end of conflict in the Middle East?

I’ll comb the ruling when available for some based language to make this make sense. Facilitate can mean different things, so can due process. Atleast in immigration terms.

I believe the ruling that protected him before only protected him from deportation back home to El Salvador..because he has issues with the gangs there…totally not being a gang member himself lol

9-0 means anyone who supported the administration in this move even AFTER they admitted it was an administrative failure should be ashamed and embarrassed. That's a slam dunk brah.

Can't wait for Pam Blondi to have a meltdown lol.

Yea, such a shame that the administration got smacked down by the Supreme Court for abducting innocent people off the street and throwing them in gulag in El Salvador with NO DUE PROCESS. Such a bummer that the Constitution exists...

I don't know why you're surprised. To rule otherwise would be a massive loophole and mean citizens could get the same treatment.

To show dumb this whole affair is. One of the tattoos that is supposed to be a gang tattoo is from a fucking British guys arms. Can you explain how this isn't anything but gross incompetence?

If this SC could find any way to wriggle out of it, they would. That's how nightmarishly egregious this bullshit has been. They grabbed an innocent man, with what appears to be no actual evidence, denied him due process and shipped him to the 7th circle of hell, the admitted the mistake, THEN claimed it was impossible to undo. It's beyond the pale.

Didn't they also send some guy that people claim was just a soccer player and another one who was just some gay makeup artist?

The guy is admitted gang membet. He needed to go. The only question is if went to the right place. To be a gang member he has done plenty of illegal shit. So i don't feel too sorry for him.

I'm sure Alito and Thomas are absolutely disgusted by ruling in favor of a Central American immigrant, however they might just be slightly more disgusted by this Administration's blatant disregard and even taunting of the Judiciary.
