Who do y’all have? Forget that—I’m going with Topuria. I think he will knock out Islam. Islam has improved leaps and bounds, but he does have suspect defense at times. And Topuria, despite being cringey sometimes, is actually a very special fighter. I’ve never seen someone with his speed and power (he’s like a 4x version of Josh Emmett).

This in fact does not make sense. Topuria has PLENTY of legit opponents; and probably needs 3 more title defenses before it's a reality.

While Islam has far less to prove, fights with Armen and Charles seems like a smart move to really cement GOAT status. Then he can move to take wild fights.

Yeah they do have a few fights to take care of. Topuria has Evloev and possibly Lopes.

Islam has Oliveira rematch and possibly Arman.

But its inevitable that they gonna fight. The energy is out there.

Because he's already beaten the current #1, 2, 4 and 6. He already cleaned it out before tonight, hence the fight he was supposed to have being a rematch, and 2 fights before that was a rematch to replace another rematch who pulled out.

Fights before and after the title should not be viewed the same. While you are not wrong, he hasn’t been defending against top LW contenders after winning the belt. Not his fault either, as two of them pulled out of a TS, but he should at least take out Arman before moving to WW. Their first fight has no bearing considering their positions in the division at that time.

Topuria hasn't cleaned out his division, are you stupid? Evloev and Lopes are blatant title challengers in their primes and on the rise...Ilia has one fucking defense goofshoes. Jean Silva has always been looking spectacular and the UFC might actually sign Losene Keita or someone good and put them 1 or 2 fights away from a shot even.

Islam has Arman, that's it. He should fight Arman and then either Topuria or for 170lb, then retire.
