Tom Aspinall Trolls UFC for Stagnation in Career

He is pre loading "ring rust is UFCs fault" for when he inevitably loses.
Nice jump, Evel Knievel. Not implied here anywhere, but you made a nice ramp of it.

Yes, he's sat from 7/27/24 to 6/21/25 for the UFC to continue lying about Jones, but it's REALLY been the 2-3 weeks since that the UFC didn't announce his next fight that will really do him in.

you avoided a basic yes or no question with screeching

you European?

Here's a basic yes or no question for you:

Have you stopped molesting farm animals yet? Do not "screech", just answer "yes" or "no". Any other answer outside those two options is unacceptable.

You aren't smart, and no I'm not Euro LMAO. Fully 'Murican, bud.

?

Your first thought is about molesting animals?

That wasn't "yes" or "no". Why are you screeching?

That's an irrelevant, moronic question as it pertains to this situation. Aspinall is under contract. He doesn't schedule fights. He's presented a bout agreement and can sign or not.

You're acting like an employer that has an employee under contract doesn't have any control over what the employee does. Are you actually unaware of how society operates?

Still kept the "employer" part because you're not even clever enough to spin his words to the new question.

Sad how your best reply in this thread had to be copied word for word from the person you're arguing with and you still make no sense

Fuck. You've got Tourrettes.

My bad. Wouldn't have mocked you had I known. Best of luck.

It's been the year he sat out begging Jonny to bless him instead of destroying the rest. Mr I wanna fight three times a year sat on the sides and cried for a year. Now he's saying I'll be rusty and it's their fault.

No...I called you just copy pasting my post Tourettes.

Bro...you're terrible at this. Like, objectively just awful. Looking dumb like this...it's enjoyable for you?
He didn’t know how jobs work, then didn't know what a yes/no question was, and now can't even do the elementary insult "I'm rubber, you're glue" correctly. Each post just further devolves him into his preschool state.

I'm not sure he's trying to look dumb at all, and nothing's going to prevent him from laughing to himself, even including the applesauce running down his chin as he does.

If he posts again super proud of himself, then I recommend his parents check his diaper, cuz he might have laughed a bit too hard to control himself

I feel bad for Tom. He's been through enough. The UFC owe him here. If he doesn't have a fight, they should be given 24 hours to find him one. If he does have a fight, they should just let him announce it.

My guess is they haven't finalized both an opponent and date. They probably have opponents lined up for him, but those opponents might have scheduling issues that prevent them from fighting when Tom wants to fight. They can't announce the fight without a date/event to promote, and they can't announce him fighting on a specific card until an opponent agrees to fight him on that specific card.

The gold for Aspinall isn't that collection of contenders with a mix of recent wins and losses vs each other and other contenders Tom already beat. Aspinall didn't dethrone or beat a champion in the cage, it's why he wants to be an active champ and fight 4 times a year to establish credibility to his reign ASAP. Waiting to fight these guys only runs the risk of them continuing a round robin of fighting each other and collectively dropping their value as title challengers.

Look at how LHW champ Poatan was creating waves of hype over that group as a potential HW opponent for Jones or Aspinall, then he lost and now it's like no one cares. Gane and Jailton are barely holding interest as contenders only because they haven't lost to Tom yet, but their other losses in the division have people less interested. Might as well get them in there before they lose again like Gane basically did.

The "gold" for Tom, the big money fights are either guys coming from other orgs and establishing themselves as threats. A prospect rising up and being seen as a legit untarnished contender or the off chance that a former champ like Jones or Ngannou returns. The current top contenders are just grade A fodder for his highlight reel to set some divisional records and gain him some in-cage validation after not getting the Jones fight. Everyone expects these fights to happen and for Tom to win, but the excitement and big money will be from new guys on winning streaks who look like they might be unstoppable or a new kind of challenge.

I don't expect him to fight four times a year because negotiations and injuries create delays, but 2 years of cleaning out and lapping the top guys is plenty of time for new opposition to surface. That's how I see it.

I posted a quote on the previous page from a recent interview, where Tom flat out says he has a fight, an opponent and a location done. He's just not allowed to announce it yet. The entire thread is based off of Tom wondering why the UFC are waiting to do so. Frankly, I'm wondering myself.

He has a fight and a date the UFC just hasnt announced it publicly. Assuming its Vegas in Oct or MSG in Nov. Why UFC hasnt come out publicly just to give everyone clarity on whats going on is stupid. Just announce that he's fighting.
The UFC very rarely makes an official announcement until everything about the fight contract is finalized, and they're especially unlikely to do so here after Dana fucked himself over by stupidly announcing that Aspinall/Jones was a done deal. Even if Tom has signed a contract to fight and has a date there are a lot of things that could be left to do. Maybe they just have a verbal agreement with Aspinall's opponent. Maybe they have a backup opponent signed but are still trying to get their top choice. Maybe the venue contract isn't signed yet.

And maybe the UFC is just being annoying for no good reason and waiting for the "right" time to make an announcement, but, more likely, one of those other things or something similar.

Seriously, I'm already desperate here, imagine Tom.
