The UFC doesn't like Belal

I like him and I don't even like him. Someone as notoriously biased as Dana sure as shit isn't going to do him any favors.

Belal has an unlikable personality and a boring fight style. He's won the belt and has dine nothing since but yap on the side saying everyone sucks. He's also inactive so I kinda get the UFC's disposition towards him

Who does? He's the one guy single handily ruining the division during arguably it's most exciting era ever with names like Shavkat, Garry, MVP, Carlos Prates, JDM, Buckley etc

Every fight he shows up and tries his absolute best to remove any possible excitement any fight could have in any way, shape, or form.

To be fair to Belal the fighter, he does that when he enters a room. He doesn't have to be fighting to do it.

the only reason those cucks like merab is because he beat Umar, he is just as boring as belal and more of a dickhead on the mic
Yup that’s exactly what I mean. This forum wanted to burn him at the stake after he beat Aldo. Very few of these people care about Merab at all, they just like that he beat guys they aren’t a fan of. I know because I was guilty of it too, as I was rooting for him to beat O’Malley mainly because I’m not a fan of Sean.

Correction:
The fighters that are unable to defeat him are allowing the division to be "ruined".
Never fault a professional athlete for winning.

So now Dricus is getting the "never fought any grapplers" treatment?
I mean he really hasn't. And he's a kickboxing.

No fault of his.. the division hasn't really had anyone for him to fight. He did fight Brunson and that was a really tough fight for him.

I'm just pointing out that Belal might have a better chance in this fight than many seem to think.

I've been convinced that Belal has undergone a fairly dramatic body transformation over the years, but based off of these two pics, one taken in 2016 and one last year it looks like he hasn't necessarily changed that much at all. This has nothing to do with anything else in this thread but I may have been mistaken in seeing Belal as a hardcore Supplementer.

Prove me wrong, Sherdog!

And Belal is actually not bad in terms of fight entertainment, so long as you don't absolutely require a finish.

Which makes Sean Brady getting pieced up by him inside of two rounds look TERRIBLE on an otherwise excellent record!

I agree with Belal - he's got a minus on the Dana privilege scale.
The way Dana praising meh performances by Strickland but goes to a post fight Belal won and mostly puts him down.

That being said - 1 year ago people said Belal was so disliked he would be kept away from the belt at all costs

Who the fuck actually likes belal.

This guy is the worst champ ever. Won't fight more than once a year. Won't fight his "friends", who he trained with for 2 weeks.

Wants to move up when he barely won the belt in the first place and hasn't even defended.

I really hope Shavkhat saves us the WW division.
