The Amount of skills Chimaev brings to the Octagon is admirable (Most skilled fighter on the roster)

well said. He will take things out of context to fit his argument
Yes, it's the same nonsense being regurgitated over and over again.

I'm sure we will revisit the topic again when Khamzat vs DDP is getting closer.

Not only in grappling but in terms of putting it all together
No. He's a mid level striker.
In terms of putting all different skills together, striking + wrestling + BJJ + ground & pound together would be someone like Jon Jones even though Jone has bad boxing.

Jon has never ko´´ed anyone standing while Chimaev has he has threat in his hands. Jones is a good kicker..

Chimaev is a high pressure striker with good chin but we don´t see him use it often because he is taking guys out quick using wrestling and subs which is his A game hence we rarely see his B Game.

His striking is more like prime DC he moves forward constantly applying pressure it is also very exhausting for the opponent and himself.

Example lets assume Chimaev chooses striking against DDP it will be a complete war.. Dricus won´t be able to finish Chimaev due to his chin and movement and will have diffficulty dealing with the non-stop pressure Chimaev brings looking to land something big while trying something while pushing forward

Yeah Jones is good kicker, good knees, good elbows hence why I said striker as well. He just has bad boxing. But great at everything else and mixing them all together.
Chimaev isn't a good striker. Usman was piecing him up.
He just has extremely good wrestling and grappling. Often times he just shoots across the Octagon and goes for the takedown right away.

The entire point of the thread is mixing the skills. Which Jone Jones is the best at.

Btw, Chimaev isn't a knock out artist either. So I don't get what the point of saying Jones has never ko'd anyone standing is for. He's still a way more dynamic striker then Chimaev with spinning elbow attacks, spinning kicks, jumping knees, etc which he actually mixes with his wrestling.

I remember watching Jon Jones giving Stephan Bonner a Kurt Angle German Suplex holding on to his leg and then hitting him with a spinning elbow. That's what you call mixing it up.

uh...what? He won the title by KO'ing Shogun. The best 205er of all time at that point. Who the hell has Khazmat knocked out that is even remotely comparable?

Chimaev broke his hand in that Usman fight. hence he was defensive.

But Chimaev when striking goes forward watch Burns, Ikram, and Merts.

I don´t think example Dricus can beat Chimaev standing if he was to opt to stand with him alone I think it would turn into a bloodbath but Chimaev has a better chin and both fighters would be tired by 2nd round due to the pace of the fight.

Chimaev will chase Dricus from the first bell and try to cut the cage looking for a KO blow. He dropped Gilbert with a JAB

It's beyond hilarious watching Khamzat haters show their inability to separate bias and be impartial about the guy.

You would think after the guy made you look stupid like 3 times now, you'd shut up but I guess continuing going all in on looking like an idiot is a motto of some

He's a good wrester but he relies largely on mentally and a willingness to go balls to the wall in the first round/first minute. There's been plenty of fighters with a much higher skill level in both grappling and striking.

The point is anyone can look like an unstoppable world beater under the circumstances Khamzat fought his opponents under

Let's see him against an actual top 5 opponent in their prime and not mid lower top 15 guys/old shopworn guys on the verge of retirement

If you think that you know absolutely nothing about MMA, or let your hate cloud your judgement.
