I think this fight has marinated for a while so we are all ready to get to it. The fight is going to let us know how good Alex really is. If he wins this one he gets to show everyone he can handle a wrestler even if that wrestler never wrestles.

Alex's last few fight's he's come in on short notice with nagging injuries and broken toes. He's coming in fresh and healthy against Ank and I imagine he will chin check him into orbit.

Alex has a 5" reach advantage, stats-wise Ank is a middling grappler. Don't make me post them again.

I am actually excited for this fight because I want to see Alex face a challenge that he hasn't already faced. If you are an Alex fan you should be excited. Ragging on "Ank" being boring shows a lack of confidence in you boy. If you are such and Alex fan you should be excited to see him fight anyone.

If Alex does send Ank to the Shadow Realm that will be one thing. I just hope Ank actually uses some wrestling to see how Alex can handle it. If it is some super quick KO I will be sad because I want to see Alex go thru some adversity. Last competent grappler Alex faced went to a SD with him in Jan. I feel like Alex's "Myth" can't become an actual Legend without facing a true test.

Nobody knew who Alex was when he was a kickboxer so why is everyone so excited to see him just fight kickboxers in MMA?

He's brought his whole camp to Australia and has been posting training clips pretty much non-stop.
I personally feel he should have put his Aus commitments on hold and stayed a Glovers. That said he is getting a lot of new faces in training. Wish he would have brought in a high level wrestler for his camp.

Relax, the UFC has to fulfill these media demands with all these shows. They have to literally take it one event at a time to maximize revenue. They can't come out 6 weeks before and be pushing the big show down the road over the three other events in between. General consumer will feel less intrigued by the other events then.
