International Russia formally declares the US as 'enemy'

Yes they are positively imperalist. Belts and roads is perhaps the most positive imperial venture ever done.

Africa at the end of the day is looking for an alternative. China didn't turn the rest of the world against the US, the US did with neoliberalism and their gaslighting bullshit about austerity and insincere crying about human rights. The number one rule of hegemony is making people want to keep you in charge. Not lecturing people about the importance of having values they don't want. This will ultimatly be the US's undoing. They see no need to appease or appeal. They see their way of doing things which the world is sick of as superior and if people elect a govt that doesn't want that they'll coup them. China is developing countries and building them things with no strings attached. What do you expect Africa to do to tell the Chinese to go fuck themselves? Why would they do that?

The CCP right now seems to have a mentality of becoming number 1 no matter the cost. And following the fall of the USSR there was only one way to accomplish this. This will be Chinas century and they are the worlds only hope. Maybe they will let us all down but I would rather gamble on that then have the current status quo where we know what we're getting and it's awful and history will condemm us.
Holy shit dude. You think there are no strings attached? You usually have bad takes but this one takes the cake. You need to shut up and do some more research

This is great.
Russia was just one of our allies and helped win WWII for us.

Fantastic news. We need a Russia-China military alliance.

And what about 1945- 1991?
You know the cold war..
I am pretty sure USSR / Russia was seen as the enemy
True, but we didn't really fight them then. Things got close with the Cuban missle crisis, but it wasnt a real war.

Overall, Russia generally allied with the US in major wars, including the first two World Wars. The US was always skeptical of Russia, but we generally got along and they did help us out in both major wars.

I don't know, I just prefer to stay friends with as many countries as possible, especially those with nuclear capabilities.

“The Train Has Left the Station and No One Can Stop It”

These are the words of Serbia’s President Aleksander Vucic. He ought to know. He is in the middle of it. He thinks Europe will be at war with Russia in “not more than three or four months,” if that long.

President Vucic says “no one is attempting to stop the war. Nobody is speaking about peace. Peace is almost a forbidden word.” https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/news-selections/world-news/president-of-serbia-we-will-have-world-war-within-3-to-4-months Scroll down to the 5 minute video.

Hungarian leader Viktor Orban has a similar view as does Slovakian president Robert Fico, who survived a recent assassination attempt.

In Western Europe, UK, and Washington everyone is talking about wider war with long range missiles used for attacks deep into Russia. Such attacks cannot revive the defeated Ukrainian military. Their purpose seems to be to provoke Russia into a retaliation that Washington can use to widen the war.

President Vucic is correct. The West is making no effort–indeed, is avoiding all effort–to defuse the dangerous situation. Instead, the West is throwing oil on fire with long range missile attacks and French troops sent into Ukraine.

It has been completely clear from day one that Putin’s limited drawn-out war enabled the West to get more and more involved into the conflict to the point that the conflict now is really between the West and Russia. As President Vucic says, the West’s prestige is now involved and the West cannot permit Russia to prevail.

It seems that Putin might have finally realized that the war is no longer limited to Donbas and has become a wider threat that is not subject to negotiation on terms that Russia can accept.

Now that Putin is backed into a corner with the prospect of NATO missiles striking deep into Russia, President Vucic’s expectation that war is close at hand is understandable. The way matters are shaping up, the avoidance of war depends on how many provocations the Kremlin will accept and for how long. Putin needs to quickly knock Ukraine out of the war before Ukraine fills up with NATO military personnel.

Zelensky’s term has expired, making him illegitimate. Russian forces should quickly take Kiev, install a new government agreeable to Ukraine as a neutral country and to the reunification of Donbas with Russia.

I don’t know if Putin still has time to avoid a larger war by quickly winning the current conflict or whether Putin has been fighting on the cheap and lacks the force size to take Kiev and control the country.

If Putin has been too limited in his goal and too parsimonious with his means, he has bought himself a wider war.

Aww poor widdle Putin, ya know what would avoid this escalating into a Peer on peer conflict? Getting the fuck back to your own country.

Jesus @KOPPE, as a neutral party you are unhinged man. Took only two posts to take a thread about Russia calling us an enemy and flip to "republicans bad". You lefties are just as mentally unwell as the far rights just on a different spectrum.
He does this in many threads. He is an activist (or maybe a bot) and needs to criticise "right wingers" a certain number of times per day. Individually of course his posts are shit but he's here for a message, not a discussion.

There are a dozen or so such accounts here and you will notice them pop out of nowhere (often times simultaneously) in random threads remotely related to topics like immigration, LGBT, Russia, stuff related to race, etc.

I think they scan the forum for keywords and then just copy paste ready answers.

Nothing wrong with that, BTW, just don't waste time with them, IMO.

My god .
What a load of shit
It's kinda funny how Russians even try to paint themselves as victims in this war.

Russia fought the germans because they were a threat toRussia, and for no other reason. It is not like they allied with the west/USA - just look at the Berlin wall. Russia was never a friend of the west.

I followed a link in his bio calling him one of the top ten alternative journalists, it led to a fringe conspiracy site which also included Alex Jones and David Icke ( British Alex Jones basically who famously stated there are lizard people controlling the world) so the author is in good company. If that's the standard of journalism our Sherdog friend reads it's no wonder he gets it so wrong. @BearGrounds levels of batshittery..
