Though I don't think any of the 3 would beat Jon, I think Tom would do the best against him.

Poatan would do the best of the three being the most mentally resilient but they'd all fold.

I see Poatan and Ngannou as just getting grappled/tripped and then dominated on the ground. Aspinal can avoid getting (t)ko'd by Jones with relative ease I suspect, and could defintely hold his own on the ground, as well as not get easily guillotined like I could see Poatan or Francis.

Aspinall had never his tdd really tested. I can see Jon taking him down and then we see what happens

Poatan and Francis literally just have a punchers chance. If he gets Pereira to the ground, it's over.

Francis will have better defense on the ground and will be physically stronger but his ground game is still nothing compared to Jones.

Aspinall also has a punchers chance, albeit less than Francis and Postan since he doesn't hit as hard, but he is quicker, a better boxer, makes better decisions under fire. And he has the ground game to actually compete with Jon, to the point where he isn't going to just get instantly finished.

Damn people have lost faith in Francis so fast. I definitely agree with Alex having the least chance if it goes to the ground

Obviously a fight with Ngannou and Jones is virtually impossible.

But if the fight did happen, out of the three guys I mentioned who has the best chance in beating jones?

I would say Ngannou for obvious reasons.

Although I would like to see Poatan get kill, I believe Aspinall has the best chance — due to his natural size, speed, plus truly advanced ground game.

In a pure fistfight, I think Pereira has the best shot, for obvious reasons, but in an MMA fight, Aspinall has sides + more weapons than Alex.

Ngannou has power, but he's nowhere near as fast (nor as intelligent) is Jon Jones.

I am shocked at the number of people who are writing Alex off. He's the most proven of all of those fighters.

Ngannou lacks the technique and experience. Yes, he smashes incredibly well, and that will do against most opponents, but he lacks ring IQ and would be picked apart by Jones. Plus, he is an emotional fighter. I do not think he would have the fortitude necessary for a Jon Jones fight build up. Guarantee Jon brings up something odd to fixate on and Francis train wrecks.

Tom is 50/50 for me, tbh. I just have not seen enough of him. All those one rounders look flashy, but it may be a flash in the pan. he has not gone beyond the second round, and in those second round he's been spotty. He either obliterates (if his striking and ground game are as good as we think they are, but with his HW power) Jon or gets drowned (turns out he is too slow and inexperienced when matched against a light and precise Jon).

I like Alex's chances the best. He is patient, with experience, two extremely potent weapons (counter left and calf kick- the latter of which Jon is not so familiar with), good distance management, and the right mentality (he is calm, confident, and dangerous). I honestly see Alex's only weakness being his wrestling... which is a significant weakness against Jones.

Poatan simply because Jon already tucks his tail in between his legs and runs at the mere mentioning of the names Aspinall & Ngannou, let alone get into a cage with them.

Poatan has the smallest chance. He has glaring weaknesses Jones can easily exploit.

Ngannou has shown weaknesses Jones can exploit too and I suspect Jones is smart and crafty enough to avoid those power punches and tire him out. He's also nowhere near as fast as Aspinall.

As for Aspinall? He has everything to trouble Jones with no discernible weakness for Jones to take advantage of. I honestly think he beats Jones with ease.

The only way to find out is if they fight.

Jones has the best chance of beating jones or dana if jones makes dana mad enough somehow.

But all 3 of those guys win, jones never gonna fight any of them though.

There's 0% chance Pereira hits harder than Aspinall.

Aspinall is dropping 260+ lbs monsters like it's nothing without even putting everything into his punches.

If Aspinall touched Khalil and Jan with those same shots Pereira did, they'd have been both finished quickly in the first round.

It's rather sad and pathetic that anyone other than Aspinall has any votes in this poll. When I saw this poll early on I thought it had no reason to exist, but a very basic IQ test that shows that so many people are too stupid to breath and strap their Velcro shoelaces at the same time is informative.

Agreed. But after seeing Stipe floundering on the ground, it's hard to imagine someone big, strong, quick, and with a lifetime of grappling training be that useless. But I could see it go either way. I'm not stupid enough to ever count Jones out in any aspect of a fight.

A lot of people still don't realize how good Aspinall is both physically and as a fighter and the type of threat he poses to Jones.

Hopefully this fight happens in 2025 and may the better man win.
