FWIW been a fan of Ozzy and Sabbath since the early '70's - his energy on stage...unstoppable. Dio on Heaven and Hell, Every Song Rocks, a metal classic.

He's a weird one.

His voice seems to be something that shouldn't be good, but is. He also is able to surround himself with fantastic musicians.

He seems to be a solid bloke in his old age, but his family seem a trifle bizarre. No doubt that he has put them through some shit though.

I kind of share TS’s opinion, not on Ozzy but Metallica. People get angry or confused when I tell them I just don’t really like Metallica and never did. Outside of a few songs, I’m just not a fan.

I’ll take megadeth, slayer or pantera over Metallica any day if I have to listen to them if we’re talking about big name metal acts of that era.

I find that too but last time I said that outloud, I got tore a new one. They’re criminally overrated. I got an even hotter take that St. anger, viewed as among their worst work is not bad at all

As much as I dislike Ozzy, a lot, I dislike his talentless hack wife Sharon even more. Their fatfaced daughter Kelly is one of the most unlikeable characters I have ever seen.

Boy, I guess lameness runs in that family.

I'm not a huge fan of Ozzy solo, but this song nails one of his best underrated tunes

Still can't get over that terrible voice. And Hetfield has created some of the greatest riffs ever, and is a fantastic rhythm guy. I agree Lars and Kirk aren't great.

I love Ozzy. Most people focus on the Sabbath stuff and early solo albums. But starting in 1988 with No Rest for the Wicked, there has been a ton of great stuff. No More Tears, Ozzmosis were really good. I am a big Wylde fan as well.

Ozzy might not be the most talented singer, but his unique vocals can't be replaced...

Did find it funny that Zakk was probably the only one on stage who could actually sing closest to Ozzys style.
