If you toggle BB code off just before posting, then it seems like you can post pretty much whatever you want around 75% of the time.

If toggle BB code is on, then I'm proper fucked 100% of the time.

When you're typing your message, there's a list of icons above the message box. Click on the rightmost "More options" icon represented by three vertical dots. Then click on the "Toggle BB code" icon represented by square brackets to turn it on/off.
