NoBodY kNowS aBouT AsPinALL, hE's iRrEleVAnT!

Hot take here, Aspinall wouldn’t be getting nearly as much hype as he has if he wasn’t British. He’s obviously very good but crowning him as the inevitable HW goat is taking things a bit too far IMO.

I think it's the fact the GOAT fighter is fearful of him and left the division to not fight him.

It seems to get more attention with casuals than "he's English", in my experience.

And after this, you're telling me that Aspinall's fanboys even remotely resemble healthy individuals? <cruzshake>
When Cosmopolitan or The Sun writes a profoundly analytical article about how Aspinall is the best, his wounded, attention-deficit, schizophrenic fans will consider him more GOAT then eva.

Man I haven't seen this much pressure for a fighter to perform in a long time. Tom's been touted as the guy to beat Jon. The guy Jon ran from. The future HW goat. And on and on.
Jon did run from him. Did his best impression of a Kenyan marathon runner and everyone knows it

What do you expect from a guy who both his names are euphemisms for cock

Agreed. Aspinal seems like tye kind of guy who could ceack from this, too. He's not a narcissistic barbarian like conor
Tom has shown no indication he cracks to pressure. Whereas the "narcissistic barbarian" you cite has cracked mentally multiple times. Interesting terrible take.

Goes for probably at least 95% of MMA fighters though
Yeah, but it didn't used to be like that. The champs were stars. Hell, Sean Sherk is probably more widely known than most of today's fighters.

He was hyped up long before that sherbro. It’s not some conspiracy, English fans are passionate about combat sports and the UFC plays into it. Plenty of examples that support this throughout the years. So far Tom has delivered at every step so the hype isn’t completely unwarranted but he still has work to do.

Jon didn’t want to fight Ngannou either but I don’t remember much goat talk when it came to him.
