Looper, Dredd, or Total Recall?

Dredd is sooo much better in 3d, it's the only film I have ever seen where 3d actually enhanced the experience (well that and the opening scene from prometheus).

MaMas not the law... I am the law.

Bad fucking arse.

Dredd - MASSIVELY overrated
Total Recall - Shite
Looper - Quality.

Total Recall was cack, dont waste an hour snd a half - or just watchthe original.

Someone recommended Valhala Rising to me but can't find it on any of the vid websites. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Can't download as I'm watching from a smart tv JD need to stream or pay.

i said this before. total recall could have just kept the names and recall bit out and it would have had no connection to the original total recall. just name it "the fall" and have it be a story about how the government is oppressing the lower class by keeping them reliant on the fall transportation system and their jobs and employment in the UK. keep colin farrell as a leader of the resistance and the movie floats. just have him be an actual spy.

on its own without those connections it would be an alright movie.

dredd i heard was awesome. Karl Urban kicks ass.

heard looper was good as well. i think JGL and BW are great so theres that.

Looper was disappointing as fuck. It got some real good reviews and everyone's praising it but I didn't like it at all.

Dredd was pretty damn entertaining. Nothing special, it's just a straight up action movie but it does what it does really well. I like this the most out of the three.

Total Recall was aight but it was super formulaic, it's like the most generic action scifi you could make. For most people it might suck ass compared to Looper but I liked it more.

Hell yeah, the slo-mo scenes were cool as fuck in 3D, like some of the best visual effect I've seen. And I'm not even a supporter of 3D.

Watched all 3 Dredd I think is the more visually appealing movie, it had great action scenes and me thinks would have been a blast in 3-D ( I watched only on a TV)

Looper was ok better story among the 3 just seemed kinda plain nothing really special.

Total recall was ok just felt like it lacked something and just felt like a Underworld sequel.

Over all 3 ok popcorn flicks

Some people here have ridiculous standards....

Looper was an awesome original take on SciFi. Dredd was balls to the wall fun. Total Recall was a mediocre combination of both minus the originality part

looper was poorly written, or maybe written well but executed poorly and other than joseph levit the acting was sub par. Dredd by first round explosive round.

Recall is awful. I've heard Looper is good and that Dredd is awesome.

If you want good acting, good story.Looper.If you want straight violence and karl urban, watch dredd. Dredd>judge dredd.

I dug Looper, it was a bit more creative than I thought. Total Recall is Totally Retarded and I haven't seen Dredd...

Definitely Looper.

I'm surprised at the amount of hate for it on the 1st page. It was pretty damn good.

How is something everyone likes overrated?

Dredd is a bit overrated. It's not a bad movie but nothing great either, people just want to root for the underdog big budget indy movie which has now bombed badly. Total Recall is watchable, especially with Biel and Beckinsale, but completely forgettable. Looper is the best by far, even if you don't get into the story it has better action then the other two.

Those two hotties are the reason I didn't turn off the movie.

Idk I've heard nothing but negative things about Prometheus but haven't seen it.

I don't understand the hate it's getting. It's got an interesting story (much more so than simply "alien creature gets loose and kills everyone but sigourney weaver"), the lead actors all nail their roles, and its visually spectacular with some of the best action sequences of the last few years IMO.

It's worth watching just to see Fassbender's creepily curious android, Elba's witty ship captain, and Theron's ultrabadass Vickers.
