Media Jon Jones on Tom Aspinall being frustrated for being iced out: "Shut your mouth and do what you're told"

I'm at work right now... basically making money while trolling incels like yourself.
Well, if you owned a business like myself, you would have people working for you instead.

But glad to see you're working, keep up the good work!

Oh and my coffee is ready too, thanks.

He's living his best life

I’ve been firm in the camp of this fight is not happening, but I mean the longer this goes on, i think Jones is just hurting himself. Starting to lean more towards it’s possible

LOL

Jones fans literally TERRIFIED of him fighting Aspinall.

"But the UFC would be committing suicide if Jones lost! OMG! The whole world will implode! The entire organization will crumble instantly! Just like it did when GSP left! and Conor left! And when Brock Lesnar left! And when Ronda left! And when Jorge Masvidal left! The UFC will be broken!"

Then you look up the all-time PPV numbers and realize that Jon Jones never really was that big of a big draw. Dude's never broken a million PPVs in his entire career. He's only broken 800,000 once. Fighters with nowhere near his success regularly outdraw him.

Ronda Rousey vs Betha fucking Correira sold more PPVs than any Jon Jones fight ever. Rousey ended up getting knocked out by Holm and guess what? The UFC didn't commit suicide.

GSP vs Bisping sold over 875,000 PPV buys. More than Jon Jones has ever sold. GSP retired right afterwards. UFC didn't commit suicide.

Rampage Jackson vs Rashad Evans sold 1,050,000 PPV buys. These guys are even in Jones division and still Jones couldn't outsell them in PPVs. Even though Jon beat both of them, fans would rather pay to watch Rashad fight Rampage than watch either of them fight Jones. Regardless, both are gone from the UFC and it still hasn't committed suicide.

The UFC doesn't even release the numbers for Jones PPVs anymore. You think that's because they're selling so much they don't want to make the competition feel bad? Well if he's selling that much, and making the UFC that much money, then I guess they better to cave to his ridiculous demands and pay him what he wants. Oh wait, they're not doing that at all..... weird.

Oh well, at least Jones will always have you ride or die dickriders to tell stories to.
Honestly I got about a paragraph in and for one thing it was laden with emotions and for two it was too fucking long. Let’s keep this simple since you seem to be. The UFC has rarely if ever allowed massive fights between unproven prospects AT SELLING and marquee fighters. If you have an issue with this fact, that’s kinda your dumb ass. Take a business course or whatever it takes your stupid ass to figure out it is bad for business. Number 2, the UFC HW and LHW division are on life support. If these things cause you to struggle in understanding you are a newb and haven’t compared just how dead the name value is in comparison to generations past. Jones is the biggest name on the roster that fights. I’m sure that might hurt you in your presumed girl parts. Having possibly his last fight against a guy that never sold a PPV is stupidity from a business standpoint but then again that may be going far over your understanding. Good luck my child

millions of people that don’t know Aspinall from. Tylenol, that's a good one. The UFC has always been able to sell the HW champ. Look at Stipe, charisma of a potato and can barely speak english. HW will be absolutely fine without Jones. He barely even fought there anyway, how is he indispensable to HW???
Stipe IS INFINITELY more known than Aspinall because he fought about seven names that had buzz in the good ol days. Aspinall literally has zero opportunity to do the same. You can’t build a diamond out of a thrd house that’s nonsense.Tom wont be this big marquee name to carry the brand ever. He has only one thing he can do. Hopefully fight Jones. Nothing else he can dowill do huge. Even the Gane fight may do ok. Tom just has low intrigue and bad timing strongly working against him. Jones doing this is the best thing that could happen to his popularity rightnow

"I'm too illiterate to read your comments but please read my nonsensical ball gargling."

Nah.

Jones ain't a draw, he's a bitch and you're just a K-Pop fanboy.

Dana can sell ice to an Eskimo, he won't have a problem selling a big white English speaking KO machine who scared the crap out of Jon Jones and chased him into retirement. "Jon fucking Jones literally would have fought a Silverback Gorilla instead of this guy". I'm pretty sure you can hear that already

Dude he has absolutely a single opponent that might be a moderate draw. Aspinall is a pinch more popular than Pav if he didn’t have the Jones hype. Aspinall doesn’t translate to the weirdo youth like O’Nalley. There isn’t a single soul at HW other than Jones that ANYONE on sherdog claims as their top 3 favorite fighter. The whole Dana can sell thing is a joke. Nobody can sell the mess at HW as amazing right now with its lack of star power. The safest bet is to continue using Jones presence for attention. Once he’s gone HW is worse than it has ever been

Or what Jon? Lol.
That doesn’t make any sense. He’s not in the position to ask that. He’s the one making demands and giving ultimatums here.

Jon is leaving the room when it's game time.

Dude just can't lose, he's tactics are undeniable
Ok good, that’s one. I’m following so far. But what about the other 30 times he fought? Let me guess, those don’t count.

Lol exactly. We know he'd never actually fight him.

Dude is coming off as a huge pussy.
Fighting is about timing. I would say this if Jones refused to fight him in his prime. But at the end of his career? Not at all. That is about as unbiased of a take you can give. Because remember, he said he was going to retire after Stipe unless the UFC could entice him with a lucrative offer. If the UFC can’t do that, that’s not his problem— they should’ve been stripped the title.
But the thing is, that’s not enough. You guys are bloodlusted at the idea of sending Jones off with a loss— because there are a lot of intangibles and questions when it comes to what Aspinall can actually do. Skill for skill, IQ for IQ, you know this guy has nothing for Jones. A talent of the caliber you guys are suggesting he is doesn’t get submitted in his prime. You’re just banking on the idea his size, speed, strength et cetera will grant him a win over a shop worn Jones. And that’s fine, but let’s be honest with what we’re dealing with here.

“Do what your told”

I think everyone is telling Tom to fight you, Jon.
Genuine question. Is it more likely that Tom has to do what he’s told or that Jones has to listen to what the fans are telling him? Who has more authority in this situation? Jones and the UFC or the fans?

Weird group of fight "fans" who don't want the best fights, or perhaps even any fight
It’s not that we don’t want the fight to happen. We just don’t see it as a necessity. One group is calmly waiting and the other group is in tears thinking planet Earth will stop spinning if they don’t get what they want right at this very moment.
You guys have been crying this hard and this loud the moment Jones stepped out of the cage in November (possibly even before that).

Any 'casual' who knows Jones' name knows Aspinall's name.
No people who don’t even watch MMA know who Jon Jones is. Jon Jones is a name that has been echoed all over sports media like ESPN and Fox for the past fifteen years. Jones is in the same category as Anderson Silva who shut down this site when he finally lost. They have that ‘watch their fights to see how they’re going to win’ versus ‘if they’re going to win’ effect. Aspinall already lost and no one cared.

This is an example of what I’m talking about. Had Ovince St Preux said he was fighting Tom Aspinall— in all likelihood, the guy wouldn’t have even known who he was talking about and said something to the effect of “oh that’s nice. Hope you win buddy.”

Jones is basically doing recreative drugs and banging ladyboys in Thailand at the moment..
Proof?

Jon Jones is afraid of Tom Aspinall

This is what these drooling imbeciles can't get into their heads. The UFC marketing machine IS the brand. You have petitions closing in on 100k signatures to strip Jones. You have half Dana's replies on X telling Dana to strip Jones.

This situation itself has become a "thing". Thinking the UFC wouldn't be able to capitalize on a guy like Aspinall being the foil to Jones is shortsighted idiocy.

If ufc was smart, they woulda stripped jones awhile ago, and given the belt to Aspinall, then jones would be more likely to fight to try and win the belt back. Leaving him with the belt gives him too much power to show his true colors and how he's willing to hold the division hostage for as long as he can.

Okay but lets assume the fight is booked for november, should we just strip jones anyway?

This is all it is. It's made people completely blind to how unreasonable they are being about all this.

For some, sure. There's also a large contingent that would like for...you know...the best guys to actually FIGHT. Ideally, the best 2 guys against each other. But if one wants to be done or vacate and take more winnable fights...okay? Not the most compelling but at least we don't have the far and away 2 best HW's sitting around with no plan at all that's been disclosed.

correct, I mean I get it, Jones is trolling too, and people are taking the bait.

But this is more on the UFC than on Jones, they could strip him already. Maybe they will soon or maybe they wont, but all the hate towards Jones is hella funny especially when they eat up his baiting and can't stop talking about Jones lol..
