I'm convinced the fight is happening. And both fighters know it's happening. Like Jon has said, he'll wait for the UFC to talk. Tom knows it's happening end of summer or this fall, and is using this as an opportunity to troll Jon. Jon has trolled him for months, now Tom has the chance to do it back knowing everything is getting lined up. I could be wrong. I think if it was truly not happening, Tom would have been calling for the next in line months ago. If the UFC came to him and said Jons not coming back, it's over, Tom wouldn't be sitting around waiting saying "oh i dont know whats happening. I'm sick of waiting. I guess Jones is retired." and Jon wouldn't be in Thailand training, he'd be anywhere else coked out partying.


Not to mention, the UFC NEEDS a star like Tom more than ever. The HW division is boring AF. There is nobody to care about outside of him. No stars, no names, at one time we had Brock, Carwin, Mir, Nog, Reem, Rothwell, Hunt, Big Country. Today there is nobody, and it's one of the least interesting divisions. Something is going on for the UFC to be holding up the entire division like this.

That's why I question things I've defended before, like, sometimes I'd sound contradictory when I could make threads (I can't anymore due to....
