Jon Jones can't fight off the back foot

Jones 1245, Reyes 3. Jones 145 is absolutely clear if you even try to assess damage as you're supposed to, and rounds two and three aren't actually difficult to score. And, of course, in retrospect it's pretty easy to tell who did the most damage in the first three rounds by noticing who was more broken in the last two, which is a problem with round-by-round scoring; later rounds really do provide information on what happened in earlier rounds.

Basically, Reyes didn't do anything that counted as progress towards finishing the fight while Jones was doing damage all fight except for in Round 3.
Not sure I've ever seen anybody score round 1 for Jon.

The problem with fighting Jones one of many problems is his fight IQ. You may find something that works, but he’s going to make the inevitable adjustment pretty quickly.

Jones only fights guys 8 or more years older than him, that's why he never developed his boxing game, he has problems fighting on the backfoot and usually runs and turns his back , someday someone will exploit this and will ko him bad.

Dude, anyone who scored the fight correctly could have done a better job than the three political hacks in Texas. How dense are you? You must be trolling

Yeah press him and end up in the clinch taking knees and hellbows or getting taken down.

Great strategy tbh
Not really, I haven't noticed any offense from Jones when he is moving backwards. Machida probably exploited it first and tagged him a few times as he was running backwards with his arms out. But it's been consistent that when Jones feels something he doesn't like he disengages and runs backwards/circles out/even turns his back and runs. He could be coming off the back foot with step in elbows, knees, short punches, takedowns, etc. to counter but he doesn't. He doesn't even really clinch in that situation, he simply runs away and every time someone was able to exploit this it was a very close fight or Jones even lost as in the Reyes fight.

This is true, if you're going to beat Jones it's in the first 3 rounds. I dont think anyone can win a 5 round fight with him at this point if you don't win the first three--and even then the judges will give it to him anyway

Gane is much younger and bigger than Jones. And guess what? Jones still won.

Reyes is also younger than Jones, and he needed help from his wife Dana to get the W.
The only flaw in your argument is your hero Reyes lost.

Your hero Reyes ran most of the fight like a scared b*tch while doing zero damage.

Thanks for reminding me of another fighter Jones beat that was younger than him.

Saying that Reyes is my hero will not make your argument valid , I don't care about Reyes , and I never said that he won the match, jones got his arse kicked and got a gift .

Well why you Jones huggers don't want him to fight Aspinall for undisputed?

If he is so great , dealing with Aspinall will be a walk in the park, Jones is used to smash cans like OSP , The Janitor and Brandon Vera. So a weakling like Aspinall will be easy for the GOAT.

OP is former Cat Zingano coach. Fired on fight night.

"She doesn't have any defensive technique. Just rush her."

Like I'm walking down the street, and I see Lyoto, and I scream at him that I am going to kick his ass, and then I just bum rush that fucker.

Thread title is fun: "jon jones can't fight..."

wtf?
Difference being Lyoto had a hell of a straight right counter

Yeah, 2 fights did that, like you said, but they did not beat him (fyi Reyes lost, let's not give wrong info here). JJ may also have adjusted to this, they are also trying to adjust to what is visible as their weakness.

You're right Stipe's corner was screaming for him to go forward and throw because jon was constantly backing up and getting hit with Stipe's mediocre boxing if not all out running. So how stupid is stipe though, taking his sweet time and not reacting to his own corner. Then waits for Jon to come to him and got pieced up
