If the prior for that prison was having a low standard of care (and there is some indication that it may have been poorly-administered), then no, it isn't conveniently timed, it's just a negligent prison, which is something that isn't really unusual.

It hasn't had one reported that they can find would be the best way to catergorise it.

I'm still waiting on that californai prison that has all the same level of high level inmates. I suspect it was baseless speculation by the poster hence why they couldn't evidence it.

You can google yourself some of the more well-known prisons. See who has been housed at places like San Quintin. Charles Manson was here. Scott Petterson is here here somewhere in California. Yeah the point we were discussing was how safe it was though, i wasn't doubting there would be high profile prisoners but reading through it's hard to see any being allowed to kill themselves or being murdered by anyone other than the state sanctioned killings for their crimes.

Also as an aside man San Quintin has a gas chamber, that's wild as fuck, although not in use anymore

That's not "quite a few important steps," it's suggesting negligence by guards which isn't surprising, and some sort of determination about his status under suicide watch for which we have no information other than it ended before he killed himself. That's where the investigation comes in. And yes, it's more likely that the prison was not following procedures than there being a conspiracy.
