Choosing to go home instead of El Salvadore is smart.
good move
good move
It's not that the line is long, for the vast majority there is no line. It's impossible to enter or stay legally.
This is a great chart and should be pinned to the top of every immigration thread, IMO:

This is the truth...Mexico is not a poor country...its just ruled by a corrupt eliteMexico is top 20 in natural resources and still the people have nothing.
As are we, we just had a jump start after WW2 with manufacturing and building out our middle class. This is the truth...Mexico is not a poor country...its just ruled by a corrupt elite
Take them then. The US is waiting countries that have open borders going to total shit. We are trying to turn it around before its too late. Like it it is now in many countries.
Every single empire in human history had open borders. It’s called travelling. It’s literally the reason why people like ghengis khan could dominate the world with so many different advisors feeding him ideas.
You don’t think America benefited from this diversity in anyway? Do you think if it was only ever an Anglo Saxon country it would result in the progress it had? You act like there wasn’t full blown riots between the Irish and the locals of the time?
It’s just weird for you to say these things while history paints a different picture.
My ex-gf's mom came like 7 years ago and she recently became a citizen last year. Calling BS that it's impossible.

the empires that went isolationist definetely enforced their percieved borders... ming china. Japan. just like countless apon countless tribes and regions that people knew was immediate death apon being caught.
Yes there was no law preventing " travellers " but also no laws protecting travelers either.
Just because we dont have a map showing official " borders " doesnt mean people were free to travel ...... often people knew that being caught by the neighbouring tribe encroaching their hunting terrrority is death.... and literally still goes on to this day...
But sure. There was no " official borders "and people were free to travel wherever they want lol.
Yes and what happened after all those tribes after centuries of fighting? But that still goes away from my point. Every empire was multi ethnic and cultures changed over time.
Im not claiming that. I disagree with your twist on history. When did we come to the conclusion that culture only changes due to demographics? Did America not change culturally while being a mainly white country? Culture changes all the time regardless of who comes and goes. That’s how it works.
DId i say that? No.The comical thing is to think that immigrants are so powerful they are the ones forcing the culture change.
My man, the words "vast majority" are right there in my post. Your ex's gf is clearly not part of that vast majority.
That chart illustrates really nicely why it's impossible for most.
The top part covers spouses of U.S. citizens. But this chart is not telling the full truth.
It's missing a gigantic method where people become legal - marriages and also US citizen children petitioning for their illegal immigrant parents after they turn 21.
lol... really? So thats why the han chinese still to this day .. [ also a empire that banned travellers
Han Chinese (also known as Han) are the largest ethnic group in China, making up about 92% of the population. They are also the world's largest ethnic group, with over 1.4 billion members, constituting about 17.5% of the global population.
Yeah. You twist history a lot.
Im not claiming that. I disagree with your twist on history.
DId i say that? No.
I just disagree with your oh people were free to travel kumbaya version of history lol
Ah yes its a racist example for .... calling the han chinese..... han chinese ? what a strange claim.Han Chinese? Do you know how many different cultures exist within China and how many different languages they speak? Tbh that’s a really racist example since there are huge distinctions between appearance within different groups. There has also been so much intermixing from the original warring tribes that came to this unified stage. That’s the point.
So many different tribes and ethnicities existed in the past but with war, growth and intermingling they became one. Most of south east Asia comes from China and intermixing and they all look different.
There are places you can walk in China and they wouldn’t even understand each other.
This whole notion of racial homogeneity is stupid since Chinese people don’t even consider themselves the same.
Eventually all humans will look the same tens of thousands of years later due to the global trade and there isn’t much you can do to stop that.
