So I was reading about a story where ICE detained an elderly man for hours, and then released him. I was randomly reading more tweets, and MAGA apparently said the old man was harboring two sex offenders, and then DHS made a statement saying the man was detained while they searched for the sex offenders, and basically said he was trying to protect him. Elon then retweeted it, and said it’s disgusting ANTI ICE people are helping protect sex offenders.


Turns out the story is completely false, the old man had nothing to do with the separate issue of ICE going after two sex offenders. So MAGA and Elon completely made the story up, DHS then made an official tweet stating as much, and it’s all a complete lie. You can ask grok about it, and grok confirms they did NOT live at the same address.

So DHS is blatantly lying. This is the type of shit to start a civil war. WTF is wrong with our Government? That is insane. Admit you made a mistake and move on, don’t double down on fucking lying man.

I don’t think so, no—other than maybe immigration, a lot of people were unhappy with Biden’s handling there, that’s fair. But the top issues to voters according to pre-election polls and exit polls both were the economy and inflation. That’s the stuff Trump won over Kamala.

I think most people had a misconception on immigration and most likely have a slightly different opinion on it now. You see, this is what happens when you make EVERY immigrant sound like a rapist or murderer. It’s only going to continue to get worse as well when a majority of people realize no matter how many are deported, their day to day life is going to be relatively unaffected.

I saw this poll today and found it quite interesting, despite it likely being an outlier. Morning consult is well regarded tho.

Increased approval with both immigration and economy. I am now starting to see noticeable, consistent decreases in gas and other things. Despite some things remaining high. Once people see the benefits of the tax cut she the get their refund, going to really shoot up.
