How do we see Islam VS JDM going

I think Islam gets wobbled at some point and struggles with the size. His path to win is getting JDMs back and I don't think that little off balance kick he uses works against Islam.

JDM is Islam's best match up at 170 to win the belt. JDM is a better boxer than Poirer and I think WW is too much for Islam.

It should be a good fight though.

Man go watch those fights. How they were splits is beyond me. JDM is the only one landing any actual strikes of consequence.

The guy lands multi shot combinations and has his opponent hurt in both those fights. Judges be crazy giving those fights to his opponents based off volume and control time only.

Haha what? You can't finish everyone at the highest level.

The guy has 14 finishes in 18 wins, with 12 KOs and 2 subs. The guy has 5 finishes from 8 UFC wins and has only been in the UFC since 2023.
He had a 4 fight finishing streak to start his run.

They are scoreless soccer ties.

His inability to finish holland or blol wasn't worthy of anything to me. Except a nap and skipping the hype train.

Finishes are all that matter.

I feel like it’s gonna be super close, Belal was the true test for JDMs takedown defence (he had a broken arm and was battling staph in the Gilbert fight, and had to do a double weight against Basil) he scrambled like crazy in that match and Belal has trained with team Khabib before

But on the flip slide, Belal is 36 not getting any younger has zero submission threat and that’s what gonna be the game changer against Islam, I don’t know if JDM will be able to really scramble as much against Islam with the threat of a Submission, plus I also think Islam will probably be even more muscular and stronger for this fight.

Islam is claiming that bulking up to WW isn’t going to well at the moment, and it’s tricky because Islam had a war with Dustin while battling Staph, but Dustin was also 35 broke his ribs during camp and tore his acl of the bone and made it to round 5 before being subbed, I still stand on my opinion that if Islam didn’t have to do the strict rehydration rules of Australia and didn’t have a rough cut that he would have dominated Volk, the more I have rewatched Islam VS Volk I score it 49-46 Islam but can see and argument for 48-47 Islam

I think islam will get kod.
I don't think islam actually has good fight iQ or the right game plan.

Islam follows his coaches. And fights to their advice.. Jack has shown great fight iQ and an ability to adapt.

As soon as something goes wrong islam will break and try to force Jack to the mat.. islam trying for a finish is gonna be his down fall. Imo. I think islam will have that liquid courage striking with Jack.
And it's gonna break him.

But idk islam could go in there and take Jack down in round 1 or ko Jack and prove me wrong cause islam seems to be that good.

Just Jack is a new breed of striker who can box similar to illia there not afraid of take down attempts. And are going to the body with good boxing.

I think islam will have better cardio and should go for points and make it a 5 round fight.

Belal is a terrible measuring stick as he does nothing to Islam every-time they train together

Maybe if Belal was “neck & neck” with Islam in the gym, then that thought process would be fine
