Of course that term is ridiculous. Case in point: We have over 200 Norwegian citizens in Gaza right now. Why are they there? Well, they're there because people come here from various problematic places around the world (the vast majority of which, for some peculiar but of course totally random reason, are Muslim majority) and claim that they can't live in their home countries because they might get killed and so on, so they have to live in Norway. So we say "oh, alrighty then" and let them stay and give them housing, food, education, kindergarten and so on. And then when they have a Norwegian passport and Norwegian money (welfare/early pension in most cases), they often want to travel and visit other places. And where do they go? They go right back to where they said they could not live because their lives were in danger there.
So now more than 200 of these new Norwegian citizens on holiday in the, cough, "open air prison" of Gaza are stranded there, and they no longer want to be there because their local government went to war against Israel and Israel struck back, so the fun and games are over. No more joyous celebrations in the street over torturing Jewish children to death. So they're demanding that the Norwegian government immediately help them get back to Norway, and I'm pretty sure we'll soon be hearing cries of "oppression" if it's not quickly sorted out for them.
