We have heard Palestine deserves to be free and they’ve been offered a state multiple times. They always say no. But fine. Gaza is its own state. West Bank is its own state. Remove or just don’t support settlers in the West Bank. Place giant bombs all under Gaza with the understanding if they launch middle sheet all go off.

"Palestinians" want all Israel an that's it no real compromise as it's in their religion which is why most Muslim countries urge this as well. They believe what Islam conquers it should always keep.
and this is what you support

Why tell the truth these folks equate dropping bombs AFTER YOU TELL THEM WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO and WHERE. And the Islsmic Extremists literally not letting the people go and they then becoming collateral damage. TO LITERALLY GUNNING DOWN INNOCENTS at a concert , going door to door killing men women an children via brutality of all sorts . To these people ITS THE SAME THING.

ALSO most of the folks saying this and going to Hsmas rallies and engaging in the river to sea chants........ are progressives . Not even caring or bothering to realize the Muslim Extremists standcin direct opposition to many to most ofctheir core progressive values. It's just sheer lunacy.

You know this was all in response to the entire Arab world declaring war and their intent to genocide them (for a second time within 10 years), yeah?
oh wait really? nevermind then, i actually think ethnic cleansing, biological warfare, and genocide are good in that scenario.

is that the response you’re looking for?

we went from “you’re a borderline nazi if you say israel poisoned palestine’s wells” to “actually everyone poisoned wells back then, it was common” then “israel wasn’t trying to erase palestine” to “okay they were trying to erase palestine but i’m pretty sure palestine said they were gonna try to do it first”

i find that i agree with you on most politics sentimentally, even if i think you make your points badly sometimes. i’ve seen you say very well-put shit as well. i think you’re gonna find that your staunch defense of israel is not going to line up with the rest of your politics very well. i have to ask, are you jewish? i’m like 3% german ashkenazi or something but i probably wouldn’t even know that if not for ancestry dot com. i didn’t grow up with any sort of judaism. if so, do you feel like you have to support israel’s government just on principle? because right now you’re defending some shit i’m damn sure you would chastise under other circumstances.

Well thats a big old tirade of baseless accusationary bs, rather telling for someone being called out. So how long was it then, i mean tbf from your posts it does seem more like since october...
I'm obviously the one calling you out, not vice versa, retard. And I told you to show us the post. So where is the post where I said that? Just show us the post.

Well the Israelis didn't do any of these things in a vacuum. When you're dealing with history you have to consider all the context.

It's incredibly strange to me how selective people are with the context of history when it suits them.

The Israelis were in existential fight for their existence during that time. For the second time in the same decade with a fraction of the international support they enjoy today. Yes, the fight was nasty, and they did some nasty things for their survival. They never declared war, they declared independence.

The Arabs lost the war they declared and Israel are the bad guys for not wanting to invite them all back in? The 1948 deal was more than fair and they're never going to get anything better, especially now.

My interest in the topic and stance has nothing to do with my religious beliefs, I have none. I just like military history. Any honest look at the history of events and it's pretty clear where the fault lies.

this ignores all of the agreements israel has violated in its settling and the context that provides to the anger of palestinians though.

This is all after the war though, and only exists because the Israeli government was generous enough to even allow them to stay and return in the first place. They threw their lot in with the Arab League and they failed, why are they Israel's issue at all?

I had a good chat in work today about this conflict. All older colleagues. A couple Muslim, or Muslim heritage, none Jewish and most not religious. The point we all agreed on was that this conflict/situation is painted black and white with no room for discussion on the grey area that literally makes up the entire conflict. The younger generations, via social media, feel they NEED to take a side and HARD and try to screech down the opponent.

It really is a complicated situation, both sides have done bad things. It's like a brutal tit for tat and what Hamas did on the 7th was an escalation beyond escalation. Is the response proportional? I would say no but I'm not Jewish living somewhere that wants me dead.

I was in Israel in August. Saw loads of mosques and churches.

You don't see synagogues or churches in any Muslim country. I might have seen the odd one in Jordan but Jordan is very moderate and progressive.

Early Zionists were outright terrorists, so its not surprising, they just didn't targeted Arabs, they also targeted the British.

I think its ridiculous to bring old stuff to the modern day, but you are engaging in some massive revisionism here trying to paint early Zionists as always a victim when they engaged in the shit Hamas is doing right now.

No, what you're saying is the Jews should give Hitler and some SS brigades a plot of land in their country and just trust him not to try and genocide them again. Lmao
“their country” is a crock of shit lmao it’s A country that both groups have claim to. one of those groups is continuing to push the other out with violence & trillions of dollars of support from the west in blatant violation of decades-old agreements. the other group is shooting fireworks at them and getting carpet bombed into oblivion for it.
