You're trying to make a point using something that never happened. That is the problem my friend. Gane got dropped, Tom never got rocked or wobbled.

And most of what we're disagreeing with you is about you saying Tom got rocked.

I know what “wobbled” means and you only obviously don’t. You don’t dodge a combo like Tom did if you’re wobbling.
If you’re rocked, it’s a visible reaction.

When a fighter is wobbled, this means they momentarily lost control of their footing. This did not happen at any point in the Aspinall fight. In fact, in the very next second he was using head movement and feinting counters, which caused Sergei to lose his momentum.

Fair enough. I'd say given Tom is an actual mixed martial artist unlike many at HW, there's a clear and easy path to victory for Tom v Gane. Tom is an excellent HW grappler. Gane is an embarrassingly bad HW grappler. Gane does have the fancier striking, but his advantage here is quite small compared to Tom's astronomical advantage in the grappling. Plus, look at many examples where a grappler's striking is more effective in MMA than the strikers specialist striking because of the threat of takedown.

Tom just has to get close enough to Gane to get hands on and then it will be game over. Much like Jon v Gane.
