Gable Steveson will murder Tom Asspinall

The guy is a promising prospect but lets not get ahead of ourselves. He has yet to get punched n the mouth and face real adversity.
Brock was much less talented, muck less experienced, much less skilled, and managed to win and defend the UFC belt as a side hustle. And he hates getting punched.

Carwin was working full time as an electrical engineer his whole UFC career and also won.

UFC HW division has always been a shit show.
You guys think Tom is going to fight again?
Its sad… he has irreversible damage to his eyes… those werent jon’s bony fingers. Gane has sausage rolls for hands. The man cant see the same or move his eyes the same anymore.

Was not a side hustle for Brock, and he hardly fought the who's who of MMA. Most of the best heavyweights he didn't fight.

Keep moving the goal post. Brocks win over Mir is worth more than Aspinalls last 5 wins combined.

I dont think you know what moving the goal post means. What was my original goal post...? I never said anything about Brock Lesnar before my previous post, as he is irrelevant to this thread.

No, beating Frank Mir is not worth beating multiple solid guys in a row, that isn't how the sport works. And you do know, Brock Lesnar lost to Frank Mir. If we are talking about "goal post moving", you would have to acknowledge it took Lesnar 3+ years of training and two tries for him to beat Frank Mir, where as Gable Stevenson has had less than one year.

You're trying to paint like Brock dominated the HW division when he never did. Getting title shots right away is a privilege, as it is much harder to earn a title shot then it is to actually win one. If you haven't figured it out, if Brock had been booked like a normal person he would have had to fight Carwin/Cain/JDS before being in the main event scene, and if he had lost to them he would have gotten sent to the back of the line just like everyone else. 2/3 of those guys are not even hypothetical hard matchups for him, as he literally fought them when he was even more experienced and still got a whoopin (granted he did win against Carwin).

Pretty much, he's beaten two nobodies and hasn't been hit at all, no one knows if he's like Brock and hates getting hit and will wilt under pressure.

I have a strong feeling this dude cant take punch. He will eventually get hit clean as he moves up the ranks and have to fight real MF's, but I just have a feeling he doesnt react well to getting punched in the face. Ive seen it too many times with athletes like him.
Brett Rogers Instantly pops to mind.

Jon Jones is a brand in a way. His team rely on him, I’m sure he has friends that rely on him… his family is probably set, but he has a network of people that rely on him being basically undefeated, and it’ll make him risk-adverse especially after all he’s already done. It’s not him being selfish, he’s a star horse that’s aging, and his bettors don’t wanna lose.

Kind of a miserable existence, if you ask me. Like a circus animal.

The UFC was never Brock’s main source of income.. especially back then when it was tiny af. You’re hellucinating.

What was his source of income, door to door sales? His NFL tryout?

If you're going to say WWE, you're incredibly confused. He had not been in the WWE for years at that point. He was not making any "income" from that.

Brock Lesnar didn't make serious money from WWE until he left the UFC the first time.
