Does anyone really believe Khamzat vs DDP is happening?

I know what you're feeling, I always have big concerns about it, I really want to see this fight but with guys like Khamzat you are always nervous that some mysterious thing will come up as to why they're out again.

If it was Khamzat vs Costa I would have a billion more worries, no way it will go smoothly and it ain't happening lol, DDP is more stable but yeah I kinda need to see them both their at the octagon walks to believe in it fully.

This is about 10 months prior to Khamzat vs Whittaker.

As far as I know, he didn't have any surgery between the Whittaker fight and now.

I think they scheduled it badly for Dricus/Whittaker to give Izzy an advantage in his title defense.

Sort of like they pushed Aljo into making a quick turnaround to defend vs O'Malley.

With some better scheduling, it's likely that Strickland would never become champ, and that Dricus vs Khamzat would've happened earlier.

He wasn't expected to, no. Jon Jones stepped up one month after fighting Bader for his title shot against Shogun though.

Not too many fighters pull out this much and turn down title shots on 9 weeks after not taking much damage in their previous fight, which is why it's weird that everybody is only concerned about Khamzat not making it.
