Do you think Tom is a mentally weak person?

Urijah Faber both broke his hands in a 5 rd fight and continued to fight with his elbows . Some people are warriors, others aren't. Tom is not.

2 identical situations.

If you genuinely think a guy who became elite in any sport is mentally weak, you are a mong. In combat sports x10.

Or just mandatory point deductions for all eye pokes, regardless of opponent.

It's well known at this point that the striking style of parrying attacks with your open palm lead hand, pushing your palm towards your opponents' face, leads to eye pokes. While any individual eye poke might not be premeditated, there is definitely a degree of recklessness of "I don't really care if I end up poking him, because I won't lose a point anyway".

That needs to change, and I can't see how it will change without either 1) mandatory point deductions for eye pokes or 2) banning extending your open palm towards your opponent at all. And the first one is much easier to accomplish IMO.
I agree. But only when Tom fights. And when his opponents score against him, it should only count for half. When he scores? Double.

Same people who say Duran is a pussy for the “no mas”.

So when Tom KO's his opponent's it's only because he's getting favorable scoring?

Damn, good thing he had all that favorable scoring to help him win all those fights by knockout. Otherwise he'd be in real trouble.

No he doesn’t get favorable scoring. I’m saying he should. Favorable scoring, referee calls and judging.

No, he had a legit injury of his eye. Dude couldn't see. I wouldn't fight if I were him. He did the right thing. It wasn't fault that it happened.

Urijah's hands were actually injured unlike Tom's eye you mog

There is quite literally ZERO proof Tom has an eye injury. EVERY doctor who has examined him has repeatedly cleared him, and the dude keeps acting in front of cameras to pretend he's injured.

Ah ok, so when Tom pokes someone in the eyes, he loses 0.5 points, but if someone pokes him, they lose 2 points?

Well, if you're right and Tom is as mentally fragile as you say, then Gane will probably beat him in the rematch.

I'm sure it will happen within 6 months. So we just wait for them to fight again.

much like some of the most famous UFC promoted GOATS, ie, usman, he will be yesterdays news now. He won't even win his next fight. Welcome to the Big League Brah.

6 months for a non-existent eye injury is already ridiculous.

Put them on UFC 322 or UFC 323 or strip Tom if he refuses to.

If that is true, than I take it back in what I said.

LOL.

So you now think he was a “pussy”, right?

LOL

Nope. life aint binary. Like I said, Duran was a great fighter - great legacy. But at the end he met his match and mentally quit. If you feel the need to encapsulate a whole fighter's career in one word summary go ahead - I dont.

Never said he was mentally weak. Said hes not the warrior other fighters are. Comes with being a front runner and being told youe the best HW ever.
