Economy Do you own an Electric vehicle?

I'm not opposed to get an electric vehicle. I'm eyeing that electric Ram tbh. Probably won't get it though as I'm sure the final price tag will be quite high.

I will say as a firefighter and training on the batteries and firsthand experience on fires with them that they scare the shit out of me. I wouldn't own one if I had an attached garage.

I work for a company that does warranties. The E vehicles are disasters. They are the least reliable vehicles on the market across all brands. Batteries not charging properly or flat out dying are the number one issue. I am not against them, but the tech and infrastructure is not there if you really rely on your car. I am not necessarily against them, but I see too much evidence of issues as of now. And this idea that it is "clean" could not be further from the truth. From the mining of the Lithium, Nickel and cobalt to the disposal of toxic batteries and waste from electricity necessary, this is not a clean replacement.
