Despite #UFC313 loss, Alex Pereira’s team upbeat with belief that he won

He did zero damage to Ank after the first round leg kicks, and got nearly KOd, and Ank landed the bigger shots throughout.

I have noticed that Poatan is a bit of a copecel, even in his sparring videos with boxers etc. When he gets lit the fuck up like against Khalil Coe, he does that douchey cope thing where he continues to keep his hands low and pretend like he doesn't care that he got hit and then tries to fire back a power shot....it's like bro, use the opportunity to improve your defense, not try to show off that you act like punches don't concern you IN SPARRING when if it was a real fight the boxer would not be holding back and would've slept you already.
He's human, though, and ego normally gets the best of most people.

Poatan and his team are delusional, he got embarassed at his own game and didnt even land 1 good punch in the whole fight. You cant win off leg kicks and TDD, I say give him the rematch fast so he can retire already and we can move on to the Big Ank era
I think the official number was he landed 11 strikes to the head in the whole fight. He definitely doesn't have much of an argument, he just didn't try hard enough.

Would be nice if Alex tried something like this when Ankalaev tries to take him down next time

bunch of yes men
they wanna make pereira feel good even in defeat

they actually think poatan was the one hunting down ankalaev
and ankalaev was just defending himself to survive the fight

wahahah
bwahahaha

That’s exactly why he lost. He entered the 3rd round (IMO) down 3 rounds and they didn’t push him.

I remember when Derrick Lewis’ corner told him to empty the tank in the Volkov fight because he was down 2 and he did it. They needed to try something like that for Alex.

You can read my post history, I’m a big pereira fan but I thought he very clearly lost that fight. The worst part was I believe it was totally in grasp. He did nothing and coasted to a loss.

So the rematch will be pointless. They think he won. So why would they do anything different
Zzz
I thought you're an Alex Pereira fan? Surprised you wouldn't want a rematch. I'm a Magomed Ankalaev fan and even I'd like to see a rematch. I thought Magomed fought well, but kind of bummed me out he stalled the last parts of the fight. Plus Alex is a defending champ, fan favorite, and a super reliable star for the promotion.

Alex may be my current favorite fighter but no... He lost that fight by throwing 4 punches and being content while held up against the cage.

I'm afraid in a rematch Pereira will fight in the same way, and Ank will bring improvements

And in the second fight will just be like DDP x Strickland 2

Alex didn’t do anything to garnish such hate, bro was literally the reason why MW was getting good. The neckbeards are happy that MW is boring again with a champ that’ll fight once a year if we’re lucky plus a boring a fuck champ to boot. Congratulations Shertards.

Alex lost 3-2 fair and square, if he had thrown more punches to the head then he probably would have won, but you can't just throw leg kicks and win, sure Alex landed tons and tons of leg kicks and his kicks are good, but he barely threw any punches to the head and we all know Alex has a beautiful left hook and left uppercut. His TDD was great and he actually got the only takedown when he threw Ank at end of round. But he just was too hesitant and tentative to throw. He never let his hands go
