Dana White throwing shade at everyone when Reporter brings up Francis PFL Deal

At least PFL is trying to do something in the sport they entered into.
Dana has a diamond in his hand, but he's willing to drop it to pick up a piece of shit like slap happy or whatever that dung is called lol.
I don't know what you're on, but Slap Happy is the future imho.

Thanks for the source, but bruh, that's not a factual reporting, just speculation that's not based on ANY factual info.

"Ngannou said Tuesday in announcing his deal he's going to make more than the UFC would have paid him, so let's say it's $10 million a fight"

Good for him, if true. Everyone was so quick to criticize Frank for overestimating his own market value. And while he did overplay his hand IMO, if he has since been able to secure a deal for more guaranteed money than the UFC's offer, plus the right to pursue a boxing fight, than perhaps it was the UFC who underestimated Frank's market value.

Eric Nicksick did say that the UFC deal wasnt 8m guaranteed if he lost to Jones (meaning if he lost he takes a significant pay cut for subsequent fights that followed).
So that implies they weren't confident in Francis winning.

TLDR: Dana spending several minutes doing mental gymnastics, to explain why he failed to resign the undisputed #1 HW in MMA.
If Dana would have just said that he wished Francis and the PFL the best and been done with it, it would have shown some maturity on his part. People would go for that imo. Instead, he holds way too much animosity towards people when he doesn't get his way, it's not becoming and makes him look like a petty low life piece of shit. Not someone you'd want as your "president" imo, but whatever.

Dana's not taking this well. He was really hoping Francis wouldn't get a new deal. He was saying the opposite about Francis and Jon last year
It's the same with Ariel, Dana blacklisted his ass everywhere. Dana didn't want that man to have job, period. Dana's a petty vindictive wife beating mother fucker though,, so this isn't a surprise.

He's right about that goof Robin Black the dude is still emo and thinks he's still 17 and probably still cuts himself with razor blades.

Lol I remember when he did that for the first affliction ppv. Dude made a card in like a month or 2

Considering both will be through ESPN, I doubt the network is going to allow that to happen. And I don't think it's in either organizations interest to do that. Certainly not in PFLs as they are the much smaller promotion. And I don't think the UFC would want to risk a huge card losing some steam either. If there is any chance of the UFC putting on a card same night, it will be a free fight night card with a big fight.

He's 100% correct. The deal makes no sense.

Francis is making tens of millions of dollars in an organization that 99% of fans have never heard of, in a division that doesn't exist yet, against an opponent that doesn't exist yet? Francis will not generate tens of millions of dollars fighting anything besides Jon Jones. Congrats to Francis if he really does end up making millions of dollars to fight nobody, but none of this adds up.

Is he even making "10s of millions of dollars"? My question is, how much is guaranteed?
I'm willing to bet that the PFL will go bankrupt or they will have to restructure.
Has he even been paid anything yet??
By the time he fights some random no name with no one watching he will be over 40yrs old with 60yr old knees.

The UFC made a great decision by not signing him. They would be throwing money down the toilet and he'll be 50 by the time he finishes his 3 fight contract.

Stop hating the UFC for making smart business moves and not making emotional decisions.
That's why Sherdoggers are minuimn wage burger flippers and not CEOs.
You guy don't think with logic.

Pros

  • $30 million over three years is a significant amount of money.
  • Ngannou will be one of the highest-paid fighters in the world.
  • The deal gives Ngannou equity in the PFL.
  • Ngannou will be the chairman of PFL Africa.
  • Ngannou will be on the PFL advisory board.
Cons

  • Ngannou is not allowed to fight outside of the PFL for the duration of the deal.
  • The PFL has the right to match any offer Ngannou receives from another promotion.
  • The PFL is not as well-known as the UFC.
  • The PFL has a smaller roster of fighters than the UFC.
Except you left out perhaps the most important aspect- he is allowed to box. So he IS fighting outside the PFL, just no MMA.

Also, the idea of buying Bellator changes things if it happens since combining the two orgs would make it a much more relevant promotion in the bigger picture.

Shocker that Dana found a reason to throw shade at the champ that he lost (NOT).

Dana: we don't do gimmick fights.

Also Dana: we're having Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal fight for a "Baddest Mother Fucker" belt that we just made up and The Rock is going to present it to the winner.
Yes, that is one example, but there are numerous examples of gimmicky stuff in the UFC.

Dana: "It makes no sense to me. You're gonna pay a guy not to fight for a year...He's fought 3 times in the last 3 years. It's just not what we do here."

Meanwhile, Dana just gave Jones and Henry title shots after ZERO fights in 3 years. Unless he's saying Francis has been too active, it seems like exactly what they do here.

Dana: "That's one of the big problems with boxing right now. It's all about these gimmicky type fights. And that's just not what I do here."

Meanwhile, Mayweather-Conor is what started this whole trend of UFC fighters wanting to box. Again, it seems like exactly what they do here.
To your 2nd point,

What's ironic about Dana talking about gimmick fights is right before that he was hyping up the BMF Belt

Easy, Dana will announce the stackest card of all time and then he'll contact the fighters to tell them break the news to them
