How the fuck did this happen. Was he her coach?

No it wouldn't. It doesn't matter if Jones is a Goat. He's holding up the show. That comparison isn't really relevant. Jones is the GOAT, (probably) looking for a final fight, and Mcgregor obviously isn't close to being GOAT (if not counting fame).
Stripping Jones would look petty as fuck - that is if the Stipe fight actually happens in the fall.

Lol, omgThe show is better when it's being hold up.
From a commercial point of view
Then let’s hold up every division. Let’s see how that affects business. The show is better when it's being hold up.
The Stipe fight already was made before either fighter was in the rankings to even fight for an interim belt or a contender. If they want to strip jones because of his injury so be it but they should not get to take the Stipe fight off the books because someone else is crying about it. The person who got injured was Jones and not Stipe. He should fight jones regardless of who wins against Blaydes and Aspinall as it was already booked. If Dana wants to gift them the belt, so be it. Why should Stipe get sidetracked from a previously agreed upon fight because of jones injury.Firstly I disagree that ANY fighter should get special treatment. No fighter should be so big that they can hold a belt without fighting for almost 2 years.
However, at this point they are already committed. If they strip Jon now, he might not fight in November. And they don't want to risk that, so they won't do it. HOWEVER, if Tom Aspinall wins, it should force Aspinall vs Jones. Stipe should only be fighting Jones if Blaydes wins.

The Belts in combat sports is a gimmick. You do not need belts to keep a division going. . If you are a popular fighter with a supportive fan base then you do not really need to worry about obtaining a belt. If you aren't a major draw, then you do need one. Jon Jones does not need the belt so it would be no problem to be stripped because of an injury. Someone like Aspinall who is not a superstar and very well known does. Then let’s hold up every division. Let’s see how that affects business.
Dan should leave UFC booking to people who are actually still employed there. Go back to shrieking at refs and threatening their wives, ya plank![]()
Well, that's simply because LHW and HW suck ass on a global scale.Never cared for Dan Hardy.
As a matter of interest, current UFC fighters 24/5/24 (male divisions only)
HW 37
LHW 34
MW 59
WW 73
LW 103
Featherweight 78
BW 79
Flyweight 42
So heavyweight and light heavyweight have by far the least number of fighters in the UFC out of any male weight divisions. So in some sense, the real slow moving nature of these divisions is because they have hired countlessly many fighters at the handicap divisions rather than HW, and LHW is even more lacking in fighters than HW. Pretty sad really.
So lets say Jon gets "injured" again - how many years can he sit out while holding up the HW division? Forever?Jones got injured. The Stipe fight would have already happened if he didn't.
Had Jones been 27 and not had the legacy that he actually does have (fighting wise), well, of course he should be stripped.
Cut the GOAT some slack for his final fight, and feel free to consider Aspinall the actual champ.
So the new guy, Tom, can't do what all the Jones lovers post about? Tom can't have his time/chance to dethrone teh champion? Seems curious, but what do it even knows?Maybe he´s right. But it seems Miocic wouldn´t fight Jones without the belt and riding as a champ into the sunset. Which is a possibility.
No matter what: it seems also both will do that after the fight. And Aspinall will be the rightfull champ anyway if he beats Blaydes this time.
